Located in beautiful East Launceston, "Dalhousie" is a 2 storey; 5 bedroom; 2 bathroom architect designed house built in 1930.
Our guests we only take 1 booking at the time so you will total privacy upstairs - no need to share a bathroom with strangers will have the whole top half of our house. There are 4 bedroom upstairs with 1 private bathroom. You are welcome to use our bathroom downstairs as well if needed. We are currently living downstairs for a few months until we buy our next home February 2019 until June 2019?. You will share the kitchen / dining room with us but we are often away so you may end up having the whole place to yourselves. Please note when we are at the house we have 2 dogs both 12 years old and we will keep them away from the upstairs area & guests but they do share the house with us. Boasting 207 m2 of space, the house has very generous living areas. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms & 1 smaller bedroom; 3 of which have smart tvs with internet connection. The bed configuration means there are enough beds for 9 people to stay upstairs 4 x queens & 1 x single. There is also a formal dining area with wine racks to hold your purchases from the wineries during the day. Of course, Dalhousie comes with wine glasses and a corkscrew to help you enjoy the fruits of your Tasmanian adventure.
The minimum stay is 1 night and maximum stay is 28 days. It has lots of character combined with modern decor and has all modern conveniences including smart TVs and fibre to the home NBN for users convenience. Perfect for researching and planning the next days adventures.
The house sits high on the street and has beautiful views of the Ben Lomond mountain range.
Located just minutes from Launceston CBD with it's fabulous restaurants, parks and cultural experiences. Also close by are the Inveresk precinct and the University of Tasmania stadium where you can see the Hawks play.
Dalhousie is the perfect base for you to explore the Tamar valley wineries, world heritage listed Cradle Mountain or perhaps even a game of golf at the world famous Barnbougle Dunes golf course.
