Cygnet Hill cottage is a recently renovated, comfortable cottage on a peaceful gated small farm. It has all modern conveniences, including fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath, additional cloak room and laundry with wheelchair access. It has two bedrooms one with comfortable queen bed and one with the option of a double or two twin beds.
You will enjoy spectacular views over Port Cygnet and the Cygnet Yacht club as well as easy access to Cygnet town, being less than 5 minutes from its amenities.
This cottage offers both comfort and farm and country experience as you wake up to spectacular sunrises over Mount Cygnet. Breakfast on the deck, evening meal on the western facing sunny patio with bbq facilities.
We often see spectacular rainbows and you may be lucky enough to glimpse the lights of the Southern Aurora.
We provide a welcome pack of some Tasmanian delicacies and a first day breakfast pack and for stays over 4 days a bottle of Tasmanian wine.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped if you want to cook some of the excellent local produce.
Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional deposit and cost of $25 per stay.

As well as a herd of amusing Cashmere goats, Toulouse geese and hens. You and/or your children may wish to feed and pat the animals, collect fresh eggs and use our fresh garden produce, particularly a variety of fresh herbs.
You can see wallabies, mostly pademelons, possums, rabbits unfortunately and you may get to see quolls and Tasmanian devils, perhaps only on camera. We are frequently visited by wedgetail eagles and have a variety of other birds such as green parrots, blue wrens, lapwing plovers, ravens, wild ducks and kingfishers.
