Kings Hill Accommodation is a modern one bedroom unit in the back of the American Barn set on 4 acres which is situated on Kings Hill Mountain. The property is in a rural area with magnificent valley and water views. It is 2klm from the quaint township of Cygnet in the beautiful Huon Valley.

Cygnet hosts local markets the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month as well as the world renown "Cygnet Folk Festival" every year on the 1st weekend in January which attracts thousands of people to the area.

Tucked away in quiet creative corners you will find galleries and studios of artists and crafts people where beautiful things are made from paint, clay, glass and fragrant huon pine.

Cygnet is part of the huon trail which is surrounded by water with the township sitting upon the edge of the qD'Entrecastreaux Channel making it easily accessible from the water and is a haven for those traveling and exploring by boat. It is only 15 minutes drive to Franklin which is home to the "Wooden Boat Centre" where you can see traditional handcrafted boat building using Tasmanian Timbers.

The area has had a strong history of producing award winning wines. Several of the larger wines have cellar doors open every day year round and offer a dining experience either formal or casual. Some of the smaller wineries open to the public on weekends throughout the warmer months and others will open by arrangement for private tours.

The Huon Trail also has an abundance of quality cider producers some of which have cellar doors while others have cafes, museums and private venue space.

It is also well known for its fresh produce and during the picking season, many farms will sell direct to the public which includes cherries, blue berries, raspberries, strawberries, apples to name a few.

Further south brings you to the forest and timber town of Geeveston with its rich forest heritage of bushmen and pioneers, winning a hard living from the tall trees on the edge of the wilderness. It is the gateway to the Tahune Air Walk which is a must see which offers a variety of tranquil walks which will definitely calm the mind, body and soul. The air walk averages hieights between 20-30 meters with highest point being 50 meters with stunning views.

Geeveston is also the gateway to the far south.
