Halcyon at Dover was once the Dover Parish Hall and was converted to a two-storey house in the 1990s. It is a B&B with two quaint yet spacious bedrooms located upstairs with bed and sitting areas, each with its own bathroom. Coffee/tea facilities are available as well as TV, WiFi and DVDs on request.

A continental breakfast of toast, cereal, yoghurt, seasonal fruit/berries and preserves are included in the tariff.
Halcyon is in the heart of the township of Dover within easy walking distance to local cafes, grocery store, bottleshop, chemist, bank facilities and laundromat. It is only about a 10minute walk to the beach at Port Esperance. It is also a short distance to the RSL where meals are served and the Post Office Restaurant which is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Dover is the gateway to the Far South with sites to explore including Hastings and Mystery Caves, Cockle Creek, Ida Bay Railway, and scenic Southport as well as the Tahune Airwalk, walking trails and the Huon Valley.
