Luxury serviced apartments within an 1840's Heritage Georgian Stone Building in Hobart, two streets from Constitution Dock. The building is part of the only remaining Georgian CBD Intersection in Australia, combining the Treasury building, St Davids Cathedral Monday night the bells peal of an hour a real sense of history being here.The other two corners house Legal firms and the Stone buildings of which 137 Macquarie St is part.

Experience the feeling of living in an original 1840s' building in the ultimate central position, walkable, no car required. Our guests may want to have a higher level of comfort than a hotel room provides, Airport Private Shuttle to door available or onsite parking on request.

Hobart is a little gem of city with a growing international flavour, great dining , superb produce, cleanest air in the world, spectacular scenery, MONA to visit - arrival by water adds to this stunning art museum experience, fly with Par Avion to the South West Tasmanian World Heritage Listed Wilderness - a special treat not to be missed. Easy access to Hobart International Airport, 13 mins shuttle from our door, 1:15 mins to Melbourne 1:55 mins to Sydney and 455,000 people in the whole island state.

The building and associated apartments have keyless access via a keypad at the front door of Macquarie Street and at each of the apartments. Allowing guests to enter upon arrival without having to formally check in.

Bedroom Two - Plush Queen Size bed choice of non allergic bedding, carpeted and heating.

Bathroom - Spacious room with Grohe Shower and Bath fittings - Heated floors and complimentary Molton and Brown toiletries. Luxury bathroom linen with guest robes.

Kitchen - Miele and Liebherr kitchen applicancies including Oven, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Condenser Dryer, Nespresso Coffee Machine, Vintec wine fridge with private cellar of Tasmanian Wines as well as French Champagne for the purists. Complimentary Pure Tasmanian Water, Nespresso Capsules and T2 tea are provided for additional guest comfort.

Living/Dining -

Overlooking some of Macquarie Streets' influential buildings, including the Tasmanian Club and the Queen Mary Club. Elegant furnishings with Sony iPod Dock and 46" Samsung 3D LED LCD TV, Skype Video is pre installed to make contacting relatives and loved ones easy. Original Georgian flooring with Antique rug.

General Amenities include a Picnic Basket with rug, Ironing Board & Iron and an Electronic Safe.

BabyBjorn Travel Cot with Linen available upon request.

The apartment is non smoking and is serviced daily.

Standard Terms and Conditions for 137 Macquarie St, Hobart

Payment of deposit or full tariff constitutes guest's acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Variances to these terms and conditions may be agreed on by arrangement with the owner in writing.

Payments are accepted by:

Direct Debit into the THE RESIDENCES - HOBART bank account or by credit card Visa or Mastercard.

Remaining Balance of full tariff is to be paid upon invoice which will be sent shortly after your Wotif Deposit confirmation. Failure to remit the full tariff by this time may result in cancellation of your booking, unless alternative payment arrangements have been made by agreement with management - please contact us to discuss after booking.

A credit card authority for Security Deposit is required within 2 days of check in date for $500 to cover costs of damage or breakages occurring during your stay. No deductions will be made unless we need to make a claim against your security deposit. If required, this will be done within 7 working days after your departure.

For international money transfer, values are in $AU. Guests should contact us for instructions on this type of transaction.

Bookings are to be a minimum of 2 nights unless by arrangement. Description of the property is given in good faith and no responsibility for misinterpretation will be accepted. Refunds will not be given if you are not satisfied with the accommodation.

Bed Linen and towels are supplied, in addition to full kitchen facilities. Cots are available by prior arrangement, but cot linen is not provided.

Permitted Use of the property is for quiet enjoyment, parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The property is not equipped for large groups or functions. Disturbance to our neighbours including excessive noise is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

No smoking inside, no pets allowed.

Any breach of the above conditions permits the owner to refuse the access code, or immediately terminate the occupancy with forfeiture of your tariff.

The owners take no responsibility for tenants’ personal property during their stay. Damage, breakages, theft and loss are tenants’ responsibility.

Cancellation Policy

More than 14 days notice from 14:30 check in day - We will refund entire amount less the first nights charge and the appropriate Stayz booking fee.

Between 5 and 14 days from 14:30 check in day - refund 50 and the Stayz booking fee

Less than 5 days from 14:30 check in day - forfeit 100

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Location in Hobart We enjoyed the heritage touches of this upmarket apartment. Walking distance to waterfront and great restaurants, MONA ferry, Salamanca markets, CBD shops. Great amenities but the city traffic noise was a bit much for this country girl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning! This is a gorgeous apartment in a great location in Hobart. It is beautifully appointed and well maintained. There can be a little noise from Macquarie street but this is minor compared to all the positives of the apartment.

Lovely touches everywhere from the Molton Brown products, Nespresso coffee and interesting books located throughout. Great location with it being two blocks away from everything. Bear in mind that one bedroom is much more luxurious than the other and this bedroom is on the road side which may be noisy for some. But all in all, we loved this place and would go back in a heart beat.
