Also less than a minutes walk away are some of our favourite cafes including Small Fry, Raspberry Fool and The Pumphouse.

Within 5-10 minutes walk you can be at the waterfront and Salamanca Precinct.

Getting Around:

The apartment is approx 15 minutes drive from the airport. A taxi from the airport will cost around $40 to the Apartment. Alternatively there is the airport shuttle bus - the closest pick up/drop off location is the New Sydney Hotel on Bathurst Street 1 minute walk from the Apartment and costs around $16 per person each way. Hire car companies are directly opposite the arrivals area of Hobart airport and range in price starting at $40 per day. Within 1 block of the Apartment there are several car hire companies should you wish to hire a vehicle after you have checked in - particularly handy if you would like to hire a car just for one day to take in the surrounding areas.

Other Things to Note:

A portacot is provided for guests, however guests are required to bring their baby/toddlers bedding. There is also an ottoman which converts to a single bed which suits a toddler/child.

Pets are not permitted on the property.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great location The apartment is exactly as advertised - beautiful rooms and lovely furnishings. The location was fantastic and having the car spot was very handy. It was also very clean and the keyless entry made it very convenient. There were a few things which disappointed us... We stayed in winter and unfortunately the heating just wasn't good enough. There is a huge heater in the living room which makes that space lovely and cosy though the rest of the apartment, including the bedroom were absolutely freezing and the electric blanket on the bed didn't work. This meant we had to sleep on the couch one of the nights to stay warm. Little things like only one of the three bathroom lights working and not providing any milk and only three teabags were a little disappointing also. These items have always been provided in any other apartment we've stayed in. I was also told the owner would be in contact with me 24 hours prior to our stay but we only heard from them an hour or so before check in - that did stress me out a bit while on holiday. Though once I heard from the owner they apologised and provided us with all the information required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great city location Great location if you don't need/want a car as you can walk easily to many of Hobart's attractions and restaurants. Double glazing kept city noise out. Apartment spacious, bright and clean. Great bathroom and comfy couch. Heating worked efficiently. Excellent communication with owner who allowed us to drop our luggage off before check in time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great location Apartment is in a great location, a couple of blocks from the main shopping centre and Salamanca Markets. Kitchen well equipped although we didn't really utilise it. Found the area surprisingly quiet considering it was on a main road. Would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great position and a real gem Great apartment, only 5 blocks from waterfront. Access drive way doable with care, but you can walk anywhere from the apartment. Lovely big rooms with good double glazed Windows for sleeping. Sunday market at the door. Very useful kitchen, bathroom excellent, with good hot water and blinds for privacy, in all rooms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stay Large and clean apartment. Plenty of space for the little one to run around and space for the cot. Good food nearby. Easy 15min walk to Salamanca markets. Handy having parking available.
