Luxury 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment within walking distance to Hobart city centre.

This large, bright and sunny apartment is beautifully furnished and very well equipped, making it the perfect place for your stay in Hobart. Situated at the end of a dead-end street, it is one of four apartments in a character 1950s building. With a beautiful park in front and a tree-lined rivulet behind, this apartment is very private and peaceful.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking up a storm, with full size oven and cooktop, large fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. We even have a pod coffee machine for the caffeine addict! Not the cooking type, then take advantage of the central location and eat out in one of the many fantastic eateries that Hobart has to offer (we have a few suggestions in the apartment, to get you started!).

There are 2 full bathrooms, so no queues in the morning! The main bathroom has a freestanding bath, a large walk-in shower and the luxury of a heated floor and towel rail. The ensuite also has a walk-in shower and heated floors and towel rail. There is a full laundry with a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and a walk-in wardrobe and the other with twin single beds. Great for 2 couples travelling together or for families. Or maybe have the place to yourselves, for a romantic weekend or as a base for your business travel (a great alternative to a hotel room).

Easy walk to the city centre, historic Battery Point, Salamanca, the University and the village of Sandy Bay.

There is a lovely sunny courtyard to enjoy the outdoors. A reverse cycle air-conditioner will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. The apartment is fully insulated and has double glazing, very important for those chilly winter nights. We take our heating seriously at the apartment with each bedroom also having its own panel heater and under-floor heating in both bathrooms!

A large LED TV and DVD player, plus a selection of movies, will keep you entertained. There is also a great children's play area in the park across the road.


The apartment has 2 bedrooms.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed, a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity.

The second bedroom has twin single beds.


Apartment No 2 is situated at the end of a dead-end street, opposite a leafy park at the front and bordering a rivulet at the back.

It is about 1.5km from the city centre (about 20 minutes walk) and less than a kilometre from Sandy Bay Village and Battery Point. There are a number of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The University of Tasmania is only a short walk away.


There is parking for 1 car available at the apartment.

We provide free NBN WiFi at the apartment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even Better than the Photos! We stayed here over Anzac Day weekend, with our two teenage sons (aged 15 and 18) who loved the chess/checkers board. This apartment has undergone a high quality renovation and is beautifully decorated. It was spotlessly clean too.The bathrooms were stunning! All the rooms are large which is rare in holiday accommodation. There was heating in every room, including heat lamps in bathrooms, which we really appreciated during the cool nights. It is very close to Hobart city, Battery Point, Salamanca Markets - all within 5 minutes. Simon was very prompt in responding to my enquiry for booking - which was why we booked there (I'd made an enquiry at other accommodation at the same time but Simon responded much faster). Simon's instructions on how to get there were detailed which made it really easy to find. My only constructive feedback is the difficulty in driving into the very narrow street - you need to reverse back about 300 metres which was scary so we ended up parking on the upper street during the stay - which was just a few steps down to the apartment. This is an absolutely stunning apartment, comfortable and beautifully decorated - highly recommended. And yes, we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!!

Everything was well appointed, with so many supplies for guests (bedding, towels, shampoo , conditioner, body wash, coffee & tea etc) we felt spoilt. Everything was spotless & clean, and the apartment seemed newly renovated, we felt so lucky to have the pleasure of staying here. Close to Sandy Bay & the City, fantastic location to top everything off. Thank you Simon & Jennifer, your apartment is simply stunning!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real gem! This must be one of the best apartments we've stayed in. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere of the place feels good. It is very modern and practical, yet has a personal touch which makes it comfy and homely. Two modern bathrooms (one with a bath) are very well designed, convenient, spacious, quiet and super clean. Multiple, thick, white towels, big bottles of fragrant soap, heated towel rails, good lighting and ventilation, non-slippery floors - fantastic bathrooms! Kitchen is also excellent, with the latest technology appliances, stainless steel bench and table, plenty of room for dining and pleasant area outside. The apartment is in a great location, has two large bedrooms with comfortable beds, efficient haters and very nice decor. WiFi works great and there is a media player with dozens of movies to watch on TV. Go there any time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent property We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Apartment No 2. It is within easy walking distance or a short drive to the main attractions of Hobart CBD, a supermarket and a range of cafes. The apartment has been recently redecorated in a modern crisp style. It was very clean and the bathroom towels were very plentiful and fresh. We enjoyed sitting on the front terrace and also had lovely tree views out of the master bedroom. We'd return for another visit.
