The villa is located in a quiet cul-de-sac but literally metres from a shopping centre with large supermarket and speciality shops and a second shopping centre with a completely different range of stores is located about 300 metres away.
The public transport in Hobart is primarily bus and the local bus mall is about 100 metres from the unit. From here you can take a bus into Hobart City Centre and a 5 minute walk will have you in the heart of Salamanca. Much easier than trying to drive and park to visit this iconic market.
You can bus North just a few minutes to visit the famous MONA museum which is less than 4 kilometres away.
The Derwent Entertainment Centre is about a 20 minute walk away.
Glenorchy has a full range of public pools, sports grounds, and walking tracks all within very close proximity to the unit.

Do a twilight drive up Mount Wellington so you get the spectacular views on the way up and wait for the city lights before driving down. Or go daytime and have lunch or dinner at the Mount Nelson Observatory restaurant. Yum...
Visit Mona Museum of Old and New Art and/or visit the museum and Art galleries in the City
Visit Mawson's Hut and find out about Antarctica
Choose a day trip to Freycinet or Port Arthur or do a wine tour through the Coal River Valley
Visit Richmond or Oatlands to see some beautiful Georgian buildings
Go on a fabulous Pennicott Tour by boat to Bruny Island.
Pack a picnic and head to Mount Field National Park but leave yourself enough time to visit the Salmon Ponds on the way up and linger in New Norfolk on the way back.
Join Peppermint Bay Cruises in the City and enjoy an orientation on the beautiful Derwent River with the Sea Eagles and seals etc then have a leisurely lunch at Peppermint Bay yum... then cruise back to Hobart.
Stroll the waterfront with its multitude of restaurants, bars and coffee shops or buy fish direct from the fishing boats.
