Set high in a quiet cul-de-sac No.3 Kardilla is a stylish and spacious self contained holiday house offering family friendly accommodation. Overlooking and only 2 minutes from the wonderful and world renowned attraction that is MONA and just a 15 minute drive to Hobart's CBD.
No.3 Kardilla provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price, offering a place to stay for up to 7 guests.
There are four bedrooms; 2 rooms with queen beds, 1 double and 1 single bed all with quality linen and fitted with electric blankets to keep you warm through the winter months. There is also a 3 in 1 portable cot available for infants.
A fully equiped kitchen with all the utensils you'll require, as well as a welcome pack of basic breakfast provisions including a selection of cereals, fresh loaf of bread, butter, jam, marmalade, etc.... along with milk, tea and of course coffee. A dinning area that comfortably seats 6 right at the heart of the house.
The home has two light filled living areas both with delightful water views, the first has two large and comfortable sofas with a huge 65" flat screen TV along with stereo, dvd and a selection of movies. The second is a beautiful place to sit back and relax, read a book or allow yourself a drink and enjoy the views over the sparkling waters that surround MONA and beyond from the elevated position.
A beautifully modern bathroom with luxury towels and toiletries for you to enjoy. The home has a reverse-cycle air conditioner to help keep warm through winter or cool through the summer months.
Downstairs are the laundry facilities with an additional lounge area that could be perfect for the kids Outside, the rear of the property is fully fenced and offers a secure space for the children and pets to play safely, along with a large BBQ and patio area with table and chairs just off from the kitchen. There's sufficient space to accommodate off street parking for 3/4 vehicles.
No.3 Kardilla is a fantastic location to base yourself for all the day trips that Hobart and beyond has to offer.
One of those is MONA - Museum of Old and New Art, it's the largest privately funded museum in Australia and an absolutely amazing place to spend the whole day whether its enjoying the diversity of exhibits on show or the astonishing design and architecture of the building itself.
The MONA ferry is the most enjoyable way you'll find to travel to and from Hobart's waterfront and at $22 per person return very reasonable too, but if you want to feel like royalty take the Posh Pit for $55 per person return. MONA will also help you burn the calories and hire you a bike for $22 a day and you can ride the Inner City Cycleway to Hobart or to the Salamanca Market, a must see event held every Saturday. And all of this is just "a stone's throw" away..
Also close to a wide range of businesses, shopping complexes and eating establishments. There is local convenience store just 900mtrs away and it's only 10 minutes to the vibrant North Hobart restaurant strip and beautiful State Cinema.

Our aim is to ensure that your stay at No.3 Kardilla is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, it is also important to us that our neighbours also enjoy your stay so we have a strict NO PARTY rule and it is strictly a NON-SMOKING house.
Unfortunately and very annoyingly due to ongoing issues and bureaucracy within the NBN there is no WIFI at the property, I'm in weekly contact with my designated service provider and hope to have it resolved before too long....?
