This spacious, solid brick house has been furnished in a manner consistent with its era. The house will appeal to families with its ample space, secure outdoor area and close proximity to amenities.
The house has been thoughtfully decorated and remains true to its era but with modern additions, including, a large flat screen TV, wifi and heating systems. With plenty of windows throughout, the house has lovely natural light and a welcoming feel to it.
The main bedroom features a queen bed with ensuite. The second bedroom has a double bed and third bedroom has two single beds.
Seeing the sights of inner Hobart is a breeze from house - a 5 minute stroll will take you into the heart of historic Battery Point. The bustling Saturday morning Salamanca market is only a 10 minute walk from the house. You can also make your way by foot into the CBD, which is 15 minute walk from the house. Only metres down the road is the Sandy Bay shopping precinct, where you will be spoilt for choice for restaurants, cafes and bars along with supermarkets, pharmacies and bottle shops for all that you could need during your stay.
The house has private off street parking as well available for guests. Guests will have access to the entire house during their stay.
The house is located between Sandy Bay and Battery Point. Sandy Bay is an affluent suburb of Hobart, with many stately homes and is close to the water. Battery Point is one of Hobart's oldest suburbs and is rich in history with lots of colonial buildings to explore. Battery Point leads down into Salamanca, where you can enjoy the famous Salamanca markets on Saturdays. The house is perfect base for anyone coming to Hobart, whether you are a couple, group, family or travelling on business.
Public transport in Hobart is limited to buses which are run by Metro Tasmania. There is a bus stop just near the house on Sandy Bay Road. Taxis and ubers are also readily available.
