We are an award winning, carbon positive eco-retreat offering guests a choice of contemporary, self contained cabins, deluxe tipees and private campsites against an inspiring backdrop of Tasmanian native forest.

With easy access to 5km of interpreted walking tracks through rainforest to a hidden waterfall or a mountain top, you will not miss internet or television here.
Each cabin is comfortably catered with gas cooking facilities, fresh rainwater, solar powered lights, an eco-friendly composting toilet, a cosy wood heater and a private outdoor bath. We will allocate a studio cabin or two-bedroom cabin according to the number of people in your group. As standard, we will allocate a queen bed for first two people, then a mix of queens and singles for extra people up to a 2 bedroom cabin accommodating 8 people. Please advise if you require other bedding configurations and we will see what we can do.
The Huon Valley is home to cool-climate vineyards and is famous for it's apple-growing heritage. Breakfast hampers and gourmet freezer-to-plate meals are available on request.
Enjoy the wheelchair accessible lookout or take a 3 hour walks through the old-growth forest to Mt Misery summit and a waterfall. Experience 60-metre tall, 350 year old trees. Wildlife without cages includes possums, wallabies, bats and owls can be seen most evenings. Daytime birds are abundant.
