Local village shopping is only a few minutes drive with a great skate park and many fine restaurants and cafes, including Italian, French, Japanese and Asian fusion. Other shops include fab gift stores, organic grocer and Red Hill Bakery for the best bread, supermarket, pharmacy, post office, butcher, bottle shops etc.
Wineries abound, with many offering tastings and restaurants, or head to the local weekend markets and maybe try the Peninsula Hot Springs and Enchanted Adventure Garden. But the real attraction is relaxing on the quiet sandy beach - voted Australia's cleanest beach - just meters from your front gate , where the kids can swim safely and look out for dolphins while you get through your holiday reading.

Close to Red Hill and Point Leo surf beach. Flinders is great for a stroll through a wonderful mix of shops with a wide selection of art, fashion, artisan products and fantastic food.
If it's nature that you want to see, then Blairgowrie and Cape Schanck offer beautiful cliff walks and rugged coast line and Arthurs Seat has glorious views over the Bay.
