The open living/kitchen/dining space is perfect, and the log fire a real drawcard. We hope to be back soon! Thank you."

The upstairs rumpus room is enormous and great for groups of people wanting to chill out and getaway from it all or for the kids to run around in.

Terrific weekend away
We celebrated a 40th with a large group of families and thought that the beach house was perfect. The large open fireplace was a particular highlight, huge open areas and plenty of seating, so despite the good old Melbourne winter (solid rain) we had a party inside and enjoyed the space. It is beautifully tucked away amongst the ti trees and there was ample space to let the kids run free & the parents all catch up. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing weekend at The Dunes, what a gorgeous big, comfy, attractive home - we wanted somewhere to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our bridal party and all our children...we could not have found a better place. The house itself is fabulous, so much room and so many different areas for both adults and children. Even with 9 children in the house the adults had relaxing quiet spaces and the kids had a ball (we did not need to take a toy or book, there was so much provided for them). Location wise it's located so close to Portsea but also to the amazing sand dunes and rock pools we had no idea existed...... I'm so glad we did as recommended by the owners and took the walk, more than well worth it. We loved the house as did all our bridal party - we couldn't have asked for more and hope to return again & again. Thank you!

Big family, big house, it was perfect for a weekend away. Good location, very peaceful. The house was really well equipped, including toys and games for the kids.
Kitchen was great and the whole place was spotlessly clean

Unclean, dusty, unkempt and unfriendly
The house stank on arrival and needed to be aired out, there was still rubbish left over from the previous group. The photo's were far too generous for the state of the house, many of the lights didn't work. Brought up instruments to play between 12pm and 5 pm, a noise complaint was made and agent threatened to illegally withhold the bond if activity did not cease and lied about the level of acceptable noise, ignoring the laws on residential noise outlined by the 1970 Victorian Environment protection act.
