"We had an enjoyable time at flamingo cottage property very clean and comfortable" - Vita & Ralph, January 2016
"Flamingo beach is a perfect traditional Beach house. Retro furniture including a working record player with vinyl to play The house is super cosy. The backyard is big for small kids and big kids Kristy and David were excellent and easy to deal with. House is 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from beautiful wineries and family activities. I would love to stay again." Hazel, December 2015
"The place was easily big enough for our family of four. We realised there is also a Queen size fold out in the lounge, so we could have easily fitted more. The place is immaculately clean, well equipped and very quaint. It was like visiting your Nanna's place for the weekend- very relaxing. There are some of the basics in the pantry and there is great little coffee machine which was very well appreciated each morning. My kids are now nagging me for a table tennis table after spending the weekend playing it. A great place for the family and only 2 mins from the beach. We'll be back" - Luke and Amy, December 2015
Dromana's sandy foreshore is just minutes away and is a perfect protected bay beach for families.
We recommend a 12 minutes drive to Red Hill which is known for its world class wineries, restaurants, fruit picking and markets on the first Saturday of each month including January.
The Peninsula Hotsprings is a short drive away and a favourite for locals and tourists alike.
A visit to Dromana's own award winning tapas and wine bar Two-Buoys is a must. Local pizzeria Pizza Xpress is a great stop after the beach and for some retail therapy, head down to vintage collectibles shop Felix which also serves great coffee.
Take a trip to Sorrento on the Queenscliff Ferry or have a counter meal and cold beer at the Portsea Beach Hotel.
Dromana is about 50 minutes drive from Melbourne and is accessible via Eastlink and the Peninsula Link.
Dromana is 87km from Melbourne Airport and you can access a local airport shuttle.
