Very clean and cosy double-storey townhouse, situated in the quiet part of Hastings. Only 5 minutes walk to many shops and cafes in the town centre, Hastings Marina and foreshore Pelican park.
The Pelican cottage has a queen size futon bed in each bedroom and sofa-bed in the lounge room and sleeps up to 6 adults. There is a fully renovated modern bathroom upstairs and a second toilet downstairs.
The cosy lounge has a TV/DVD & CD player/radio, selection of CDs & tourist information are provided. The open plan kitchen has a gas stove with oven and grill, microwave/electric grill & provisions for six.
The lounge room is fitted with a reverse cycle a/c and upstairs area has a pedestal fan and an oil heater. In summer, the temperature in Hastings is usually about five degrees lower than in Melbourne; with sea breeze, common in the area, fan use is infrequent. Iron and Ironing board are provided.
Relax in the outdoor covered entertainment area with a gas BBQ and a table for six. The unit has a good size back-yard, single lock-up garage and parking spot for the second car.
Linen can be provided for extra charge $20 per bed.
