Located at 3 Cairnes street, this light and spacious house is located an easy flat walk to the beach. New to the holiday rental market, this house is set up for holiday comfort, suiting both couples and families. The property has a large, safe backyard providing security with good fencing for your children and your dog, and undercover secure parking for your car and boat.
Inside, the polished floorboards throughout contribute to a relaxed holiday feel. There are 3 bedrooms in the following configuration:
Bedroom 1: Queen size bed, large built in wardrobe, chest of drawers
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, single wardrobe, chest of drawers
Bedroom 3: Single bunk beds plus a pull-out trundle, large built in wardrobe
All beds have brand new mattresses and pedestal fans in each room
All doonas and pillows are provided.
You need to supply your own: sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels and beach towels
The house has a large lounge room complete with comfortable furnishings, TV with built in DVD player, docking/playing station for an iPod, board games, books and a small selection of DVD's.
The lounge room has a large slow combustion (Coonara type) wood heater for the cooler months. Wood supplied.
The kitchen dining area is serviced by a reverse cycle air conditioner. The dining table seats 6 and can be extended to seat more if needed.
The kitchen is clean, well maintained and has ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is a dishwasher and microwave, the stove is electric. A 6 burner BBQ is located under cover in the backyard.
The bathroom comprises a separate bath and shower. There is one toilet, separate from the bathroom. The laundry has a washing machine, ironing board and iron. There is a clothes line located in the backyard.
The backyard is grassed and shady providing a welcome respite on hot days. The house provides an outdoor table with 7 chairs, 2 padded sun lounges, a couple of beach seats, shade shelters and some kid's buckets and spades for your use.
There is ample off street and secure parking.
Well behaved dogs are welcome (no chewers or diggers!!) and a large clean kennel is provided for your pooche's use. If your dog is used to being inside please contact us...usually that will be OK as long as your dog is house trained and doesn't expect to sleep on the furniture, including the beds!
Beach lover, or not, the choices are plentiful on the Bellarine. Indented Head has its own safe beaches, perfect for children and dogs (there is a beach just for dogs within close walking distance), boating and fishing. A 15 minute drive will see you at Point Lonsdale where you can enjoy a coffee while watching the big ship traffic coming through the Heads, or walk along the surf beach.
Indented Head is a quiet enclave situated between St. Leonard's (4k's away) and Portarlington (7k's away). Both towns provide for all of your holiday needs - supermarkets, pharmacy, cafés, restaurants, newsagents.
Indented Head is an ideal place for your holiday and the perfect base from which to explore the Bellarine and all that it has to offer. This area has established itself as a food and wine destination. There are many wineries, restaurants, cafes and breweries to visit, and of course sample!
The immediate area boasts a number of golf courses, and of course, fishing!. With plenty of land based opportunities for those without a boat. The jetties at Portarlington, Indented Head and St. Leonard's are popular spots!
