Description

Modern and beautifully presented this apartment, has just completed a full renovation and extension. You will be the sole occupants of the apartment during your stay.

The new spacious bathroom includes an oversized shower, and washing machine, and dryer. The brand new attractive kitchen also includes glass splashbacks, induction cooking, a full sized fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, and huge walk in pantry, it was part of the large extension to the apartment.

The master bedroom boasts a new queen sized bed with large Walk in Robe. The gorgeous private courtyard is off this bedroom, displaying new bar height outdoor setting. Bedroom 2 also has a new queen bed with walk in robe. The third bedroom has 2 new king single beds and built in robes.

The apartment's spacious living/dining room is open to the fully enclosed yard, exclusive to the apartment . The lounge furniture is 'oh sooo comfy' with recliners even on the couch seating. It has 53 inch TV with DVD player and approximately 50 dvds. The apartment has new carpet and floating wooden floors throughout.

A short stroll to the 4 star trip adviser restaurant Lilos, its almost next door And an easy 10 minute walk to Main Street Mornington with literally dozens of restaurants to choose from, and beautiful shops to browse through. The golf course is only 3 km away. Golf clubs at the apartment for your use. please request

Just across the road is Fisherman's Beach, where you'll find a gorgeous beach with the iconic colourful Beach Huts. You can buy fish caught that morning right on the beach, from the infamous fishmonger and there's also a boat ramp a little to your left.

The apartment has been recently renovated and freshly furnished with a view for a Holiday Rental, so hasn't that feeling of staying in someone's home.

We all LOVED Across from the Beach on the Esplanade - fantastic location, went to beach across the road every day - went to Lilo's Café every morning for coffee and cake and went into town each day for amazing lunches and dinners :) Beds super comfy, beautiful kitchen and bathroom and lovely yard areas. Owner Deb also lovely and friendly. Highly recommend Across from the Beach on the Esplanade for an amazing place to stay when visiting Mornington :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good and Bad ... We have just had 6 nights at Across from the Beach on the Esplanade and have mixed feelings about our experience. It was not what we were expecting. The description on Stayz is accurate in that the inside of the unit is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. Beds were so comfortable and it had everything you needed. However, outside is a different story. What is missing from the description is that the unit is at the BACK of a group of 4 and they also rent out the top floor to another family. Having read all the reviews before booking, one which said the “views were amazing”, we were totally disappointed to discover that she must have been referring to views if you were actually standing on the beach, which is across the road but cannot be seen or heard from the unit. Also disappointing was the lack of outdoor furniture. There is one bar height table and timber bar stools which are uncomfortable and are out in the full sun (or rain) with no shade or umbrella. There is nowhere to sit and relax with a drink and nibbles or to read the paper in comfort. The little courtyard off the main bedroom would be perfect to relax in but there was no outdoor furniture there at all. There is also a lack of privacy for the unit. If you do choose to sit outside, you are overlooked by the people in the unit above when they are on their balcony and even if they go to their car, they can see straight into the “private” courtyard. So … if you are looking for a very comfortable place in a good location but are not bothered by no view and lack of outside comfort then you will be very happy here, however, we did feel that the description on Stayz was misleading for those that were looking for somewhere to spend time in the place just relaxing and taking in the atmosphere of beautiful Mornington.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Base to tour Peninsula & East Melbourne The house was an excellent base to explore the Mornington Peninsula, as well as East and South-East of Melbourne... Philips Island, Yarra Valley, etc. Being in Mornington really cut down the travelling time. It was also near Coles, Target and food outlets, so it was convenient to the max, and had all the stuff we needed. Very comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend!
