This stunning recently renovated five bedroom home has two large living spaces and is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday or weekend escape. Located in a quiet street this original Edwardian Cottage has been meticulously renovated to create a contemporary light filled, split level beach house with sweeping views of Swan Bay.
It's a short walk to the beautiful Santa Casa (Nun's Beach) and to the Queenscliff shops and restaurants. The beach is perfect for young families as it is quiet and peaceful, with gentle waves and rock pools to explore.
The home has been designed by a family for families and is perfect for entertaining. It provides a great option for groups of adults or two/three families to enjoy everything Queenscliff has to offer. It's ideal for a girl's escape, book club retreats, crafting groups, and golf groups. The cottage is toasty warm in winter and oh so cool in summer.
With separate zoned living spaces you can relax while the kids play freely in the spacious secure back yard or chill out in the downstairs rumpus room. You on the other hand are toasting your toes in front of the open fireplace or enjoying a glass of wine on the private outdoor deck.
The Light Keeper's Cottage has two decadent bathrooms, one with a deep luxurious bath to die for and two extremely indulgent showers to wash away the sand.
Upstairs there is a bright open plan living dining area, with beautiful views of Swan Bay, a fully equiped kitchen, open fireplace and lovely outdoor deck with a table and chairs.
Downstairs there is a second living space which opens out to a large sunny deck with gas barbecue and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the sun in a secure backyard.

Cook up a storm or not ! The designer kitchen has two gourmet ovens, induction cook top, caesar stone benches, state of the art appliances and everything you need to make catering for your group a breeze.
The pantry is stocked with the essentials: tea,coffee, oil vinegar, jams, flour, sugar etc.
The house has hydronic heating, evaporative cooling, two televisions with DVD players and plenty of games, books, puzzles and DVD's for both adult and children to enjoy. An outdoor shower with hot water is perfect after a day at the beach. Two adult bikes are also available on request as well as boogie boards, buckets, spades, fishing rods,highchair and porta cot.

Gourmet food stores and the small local supermarket make self catering a breeze. An easy morning stroll along the beach on a Sunday for the newspaper and the perfect coffee. Bliss!
The seaside village is packed with magnificent historic buildings, grand heritage street scapes, elegant Victorian era hotels, solid old churches and quaint fisherman's cottages. The Marina provides easy access to the Sorrento Ferry, boat ramps and great fishing from the pier. Don't forget to feed the pelicans !
