Nuns Beach Retreat was a purpose built holiday home for an Order of Nuns, as their own Beach Retreat in the 1960s, hence the name Nuns Beach Retreat
On the ground level, walk up the stairs to 2 double bedrooms, separate bathroom & toilet. Upstairs, is the main living area, and sleeping quarters. The largest room was originally the living quarter of the most senior nun. It has now been refurnished as a delightful, large open plan living area beautifully furnished, and equipped with a well appointed kitchen. The spacious, light and bright dining area, there are 2 tables will seat 10 people. This area opens out onto a balcony with a superb view of Swan Bay and surrounding rural landscape.
Upstairs also, are the 4 single bedrooms, attractively furnished and a separate bathroom & toilet.
Nuns Beach Retreat does not have air conditioning, but with the elevation of the block, and open windows, it ensures a beautiful sea breeze to maintain naturally comfortable conditions.
