'Goldenwood' is an enchanting spacious country property. It is set on four acres of beautiful well maintained gardens. It is brimming with glorious bird life and well established flora. The property is flanked with an abundance of grand old trees creating a wonderful secluded world.
Located in a quiet community road in the heart of wine country and only a pleasant five minute stroll to the local shops and cafes.
This delightful four bedroom log cabin style home with cathedral ceilings is tastefully furnished with genuine antiques, many of which originated from an old Italian castle.
It offers comfortable bedding for nine people: one queen bed, three double beds and one single bed. There is also a spare double mattress increasing the maximum capacity to 11.
The kitchen and laundry are very well appointed and fully equipped with modern appliances. The house has two bathrooms. There is a wood heater (wood is supplied) and reverse cycle air conditioner/heater for comfortable climate control. All linen is provided.
The expansive outdoor entertaining deck boasts ample seating and overlooks the grounds of the property. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained: fantastic climbing tree (see photo); cubby house; play equipment including: slide; monkey bars; toddler's swing; kids swing; huge spider web swing; dolls house; in-house board games and DVDs.
There is a large designated carpark out the front of the property.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
*Open minded property managers/owners reside in a completely separate/independent dwelling on the property and your privacy will be respected.
*Two night minimum stay applies at all times with the exception of long weekends and the Christmas summer holidays where there is a three night minimum.
*Should you wish to have a gathering on the property that exceeds 15 people (including the guests staying in the house) the surcharge is $100 and the cap is strictly 25 people. There is also a minimum three night stay and it is imperative that the car parking is managed adequately.
*Pricing structure is based on whole house not per person.
*A 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is required 28 days prior to arrival.
*No refund for early departure.
*We require a minimum of 28 days notice for cancellations whereby 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
