Located in the heart of the Peninsula Beach side, Pine Cone Cottage is a mere 400 metres from the glorious and quiet beach front, minutes from recreational grounds, and parklands and a short distance from all local amenities including shops, cafes and dine in and take-away eateries.

Pine Cone Cottage is tastefully decorated and recently renovated with a eclectic mix of modern classic and French antiques with art pieces from renowned artist Jack Vettriano. Offering 3 Master Queen Bedrooms each with ensuites, 2 bedrooms with bunk beds and robes, separate sitting room with LCD TV, Books, DVDs, games and a comfortable double sofa bed plus a main bathroom with a bath tub. A spacious dining area to cater for large gatherings, an open, light-filled lounge with a large screen Plasma TV. The back yard has an expansive covered entertaining area with BBQ, big outdoor dining table to seat 8 comfortably. In the front is a large gazebo that sits under an ancient Pine Tree and seats 16 easily.

Real Hot Springs - Real Nature - Relaxing Natural Hot Mineral Springs have been found deep underground on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula. The 50c waters rich in healing minerals are now flowing to the surface and into the thermal pools at the Peninsula Hot Springs. For the first time in Victoria it is possible to bathe in the naturally healing waters of mineral rich thermal pools. Like the historic and famous spa centres of Europe, the Americas and News Zealand, the natural hot springs on the Mornington Peninsula bring the blissful and healthy pleasure of "taking the waters" to the people.

Historic Point Nepean has old fortifications interpreted by displays and soundscapes, and spectacular views of the Port Phillip Heads.


The Rosebud Carnivals operate on the foreshore and run every day from 6-11pm between December 26th to January 27th.

Thrill seekers can get their kicks from the roller-coaster and other death-defying rides, while the younger ones are able to enjoy the more sedate attractions.

The Rosebud Carnival caters for children aged 12 and under, while the Rye Carnival is aimed at teenagers and older children.
