Situated on 1.5 acres that backs onto the sand dunes & national park, this 2 level elevated holiday house and land has direct access to the ocean. Views over the ocean & sand dunes & walking tracks through the National Park are just at the back boundary of the property - great for drinks at sunset. The front of the property overlooks rolling hills.
Heritage style home recently renovated sleeps up to 11 guests. Your accommodation has 4 bedrooms: 3 of the bedrooms have a Queen size bed in each and the 4th bedroom has a Double bunk with a single over the top plus another set of single bunks. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. 2 bathrooms - one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs.
Both bathrooms have just been completely renovated.
Large open plan Lounge, Dining and Kitchen area plus a family room with a large Plasma TV and a DVD player.
The Kitchen has a dishwasher, new gas cooktop and oven plus a super family size fridge and freezer. The Dining table can seat 10 and the Lounge has an open wood burning fireplace. The open plan kitchen and living room also has a split system air conditioning unit.
Separate laundry facilities which includes a washing machine, dryer, iron & board.
There is a separate games room reached by a short walk from the main house with play station and a table tennis table. Great playroom for the kids. The games room also contains a kitchenette and toilet.
There is also an outdoor play area consisting of cubbyhouse, slide and swings.
The house is surrounded by native bush gardens to walk through. The property is fenced and gated at the front & sides but the rear adjoins the national park boundary so no secure fences are along the rear.
Plenty of off-street parking including undercover boat area.
There is a separate entry for a boat undercover, off the road.
A local phone line is available and linen is optional by request. Extra charges apply.
The local area
Situated just a short walk from the local shops and a 5-10 minute drive to the main shopping centre and bay beaches of Rye.
There are many golf courses, wineries, day spas, craft markets and mazes, including National Park walks all within a short drive by car.
A drive of 10 to 20 mins takes you to many wineries and unique attractions that the peninsula has to offer. Or choose to retreat into the privacy of your own private holiday world. This is rural, this is sand dunes, this is the ocean and a must for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
This is the perfect holiday hideaway to enjoy all year round. Situated right in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula, this is a good central location. Sit by the open fire in winter or soak up the sun on the decking in summer. There are rural outlooks from most of the windows in this spacious house.
Pets are allowed with prior approval from the property owner, additional cost/fee.
