Forest Cottage is a perfect romantic retreat for couples to sample country living by the coast. Just one and a half hours from Melbourne, it is located on a spacious two acre property, surrounded by gum trees and natural bushland, and features an abundance of native bird life list available on request. You will be able to relax in comfort
The cedar studio, set amongst gardens, shares its off street parking with the main residence. The queen sized bed comes with cotton sheets and a downy doona. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, towels, and complementary toiletries are provided. Facilities include TV with DVD, refrigerator, microwave, double hotplate, mini toaster oven, electric skillet, rice cooker, kettle, crockery, cook ware, and cutlery. Plunger coffee, a variety of teas, milk, and a welcome treat are provided for your pleasure. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let me know. LPG gas heating and an electric blanket ensure your comfort in the cooler months. The shady verandas and a ceiling fan keep the cottage cool in the summer.
As well as the native animals on our property, such as possums, echidnas, and parrots we have two much loved cats. As our home is separated from the cottage by only gardens and woodland, we respectfully, but firmly, ask you to leave your own pets at home.
From the cosiness of your cottage a myriad of possibilities awaits you. The world class surfing venue of Bells Beach is a 15 minute walk away. Visit the pristine sands or walk the Surf Coast trails that extend for miles along our spectacular coastline.
