Bleak House is a classic 1860s bluestone homestead situated on a bend in the Birregurra Creek amidst a 3000 acre working farm. It has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen/family/lounge room, formal dining room with high vaulted ceiling, reading room, sunroom, verandah, and a rambling garden.
The 2 storey homestead exudes a sense of humble grandeur. It has a strong heritage, and is being restored by the 6th generation young family owners. The styling is modern rustic country with plenty of timber, white walls, vintage kitchen ware.
It sleeps up to 12 guests with 3 double rooms, and 3 twin rooms. All linen, towels, kitchen basics provided. It is semi-hosted accommodation where we welcome you in, return the next day with morning tea for a guided tour around the Homestead and Shearing Shed, and are always on call for anything you might need during your stay.
