Devlin’s Cottage by the Sea built in 1857.

Experience Beautiful Cape Bridgewater in this Historic Sandstone Dairy Cottage, with mesmerizing views. Just a step away from the seals walk and stunning Bridgewater Bay. Five minute walk for great coffee and breakfast on the beach. Or a beer & fish n chips at the end of the day. Great surf breaks at your doorstep. Close to Blowholes and various trailheads of the renowned Great South West Walk. This property retains all the charms of a bygone era, with concessions to modern comfort. One bedroom downstairs Queen bed, with adjoining bathroom. Upstairs queen loft mattress, plus extra single mattress if booked, accessible via a loft ladder, suitable for children over 8 years or a second couple. Quaint combined sitting area/ kitchen with Nectre Wood Heater, Bench top Oven with Hot Plate, DVD player, extensive DVD library and record player. Bathroom with shower and WC & adjoining laundry. Linen & towels provided. Dog Friendly. No Smoking.

Many guests who stay here request to extend their stay. Once the charm of the Cottage and the chemistry of the Bay work their magic, you’ll slow down and won’t want to leave. This is a 'hygge' house a nod to my Danish forebears. Unplug yourself, give a wide berth to your devices. If you do need access to the internet, you will find your hotspot works well here.

Please help yourself to the books and magazines. Play some tunes. Or just enjoy the playful blue wrens. Take time to reflect. Sit under the veranda with a wine; light the chimanea, follow the beam of the Lighthouse sweep across the Bay. Cook up bacon and eggs or a roast in the Weber BBQ/Oven.

As this cottage is my own home, and a long-held dream of mine, I invite you to treat it as your home. I will do my best to accommodate your needs.

Thank you and Enjoy
