This 2 bedroom self-contained cottage with balcony, is attached to the owner-built bluestone house on my 5-acre piece of paradise. The Otway National Park edges the property, creating a lovely atmosphere of seclusion and peace. Johanna Beach is close by, and beautiful in all seasons.
The well-insulated interior space of Moonlight View cottage consists of two cosy bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, a toilet with handbasin, and a shower. You will be the only guests, so all of these rooms are for your use only. Heating and cooling is taken care of with a very effective split-system aircon/heater in the living area. There are also double gazed windows throughout, helping to keep you cosy in the colder months and cool through the summer nights.
The light and sunny living room looks out onto a gorgeous view of Johanna Beach. There is a big comfy couch and another day-bed/couch which can also be used as a single bed if needed. The main bedroom, perfect for a couple, contains a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom contains a double bunk bed double on bottom and single on top.
You will also have private access to a balcony and verandah, accessible via the sliding glass doors in the living room.
The property is solar powered with grid back-up and supplied with clean, filtered rainwater delicious
Moonlight View is a pet friendly property. There is a secure dog run with a large shelter and a magnificent view Your well behaved dog is also welcome inside, but please do not let them on to any furniture unless you have brought your own rugs/sheets to cover the furniture. Guests are required to remove ALL traces of an animal being present at the property. This includes but is not restricted to any fur/hair, food, stains, smells or faeces. Any damage caused by the animal must be repaired or reported to me and will be charged back to you. This includes damage to screens, paint work, carpets, furniture, gardens etc. If additional time needs to spent cleaning up after pets, this will be charged to you.
