Walking into the stylish lightfilled open plan first floor, you feel like you have been transported to another place. You can’t help but wonder where else in the world you can get views like this? You’re just 50 metres above the ocean and the sights and sounds of the ocean dissolve away any worries or stresses. This luxuriously appointed home invites you to sit, relax and and take it all in. Everything you need for seaside relaxation and adventure is at your fingertips.

Sea Ranch is a unique 4 bedroom double story house with a generous deck that nestles into the side of the mountain above Wye Point. The floor to ceiling ocean-facing glass windows offer 180 degree beach views from Wye Point to Kennett River and beyond. The clever layout ensures magnificent views wherever you are in the house; whether it be preparing meals in the state of the art kitchen, lazing in one of the two well appointed living areas, hanging out on one of the generous decks or lazing in any of the four bedrooms. A gas log fire upstairs provides the warmth and atmosphere without the hassle of an open fire. The downstairs living area also presents the opportunity for a separate area of retreat or cosy kids area. The main bedroom & ensuite are worthy of a five star retreat, with private unspoilt views to dream of. Leave the blinds open at night and feel like you're sleeping with the stars.

Despite having the amenities and privacy of a luxury retreat, Sea Ranch is actually in close proximity to all that Wye River has to offer. The renowned Wye River Hotel, the Wye River General Store and Cafe and of course the beach are all within 600metres of the front door. A few hundred metres further up the mountain is the gate to the scenic Otway National Park.

Sea Ranch itself offers a nature experience as good as anywhere on the Great Ocean Road It’s not uncommon to see seals playing in the waves just beyond the rocks, and whales migrate past Wye Point every winter, truly a sight to behold All manner of Australian fauna have made themselves at home in the surrounding trees, including koalas, King Parrots, Rosellas, Cockatoos and Kookaburras. Echidnas also make an appearance regularly, meandering through the garden

Pet friendly by application at owners discretion - well trained indoor pets who are unlikely to cause untoward damage will be considered. Please be aware that the property is not fenced however the two decks provide options for housing pets outdoors in a contained space for short periods of time. Pet blankets can be provided for use on couches where applicable.

Please be advised that any damage beyond usual 'wear and tear' caused by pets or children will be the renters responsibility.

I just wanted to let you know that our stay at the Sea Ranch was more than what we expected. It made us feel like we were at home.

It was warm, inviting, well laid out, clean, priceless views, beautiful wild life, quite and everything we needed in a home was there. I’m sure the owners have put a lot of hard work to get this home completed to a high standard.

The house will be close to our hearts as it will be the home i proposed to my girlfriend.

We will defiantly be back. - August 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stunning location and sublime architecture! Nurtured on a hill overlooking the GOR (Great Ocean Road), the Sea Ranch is a beauty! Greeted by the resident Kookaburra (that we named Kookie) and a vast array of other wildlife and fauna, it was hard for us to leave the property. It was exactly what our small family was hoping for to celebrate my dad's 70th b'day - that cherished memory will last our lifetime - priceless! Note: there are no overhead covers to enjoy the views in adverse weather conditions. Aside from that the Ranch is spacious, modern and a perfect Spring/Summer home...which is when we'll come next!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Treat Yourself to the best! From the moment we walked in, we did not want to leave. Absolutely breathtaking views, amazing wildlife everywhere you look, a beautiful, spacious and well appointed home in such a wonderfully scenic part of Victoria. Could not ask for more except for a longer stay :-) Would happily make it a yearly tradition to stay here again with my family. Broke our hearts to leave but what wonderful memories we now have. Thank you so very much :-)
