LORNE-AUSTIN, ocean views and walking distance to the beach and main strip. A Lorne beach house set up on the hill amongst the eucalypts with a large garden on over 1000 square metres. A great spot from which to enjoy all that Lorne and the Great Ocean Road has to offer in all seasons. 500m back from the Great Ocean Road. The pier, beach, shops, great coffee and grocery supplies are within walking distance. There's also a short cut walking path down the hill. New aircon unit for the hot summer days The beach house is set out on two levels the lower entertainment/living level lined with glass windows maximising spots to relax and enjoy the views or read a magazine. For allergy sufferers - there are no carpets in the house. For babies - camp cot, high chair and stair gate - can be provided. For fun - pool table, sun lounges and wave boards. The upper accommodation level offers 4 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom , 1 Queen bedroom, 1 with two singles and 1 with a single and a double bunk plus 3 extra single mattresses. The top of the double bunk has no railing, so not suitable for a small child. The house is furnished with comfortable low maintenance wood and leather furniture. All bedrooms have ceiling fans to keep things comfortable on the hot summer nights and for the winter nights there's a wood burning fireplace to add heat and ambience to the living area. The large deck looking out to the ocean is furnished and has a hot and cold shower for cooling off and washing away the Lorne beach sand. . Longer stays outside of PEAK are discounted. A security deposit of $1000 higher over December and January is required for all bookings and will be refunded within 5 days payments via bank deposit and PayPal are accepted upfront part payment secures bookings. This is a NO SMOKING inside home.

Open Plan Lower level: The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, children's plates, bowls, cups, crockery, cutlery and pots. There’s a microwave, stove , oven with separate grill, Bosch dishwasher , slow cooker, rice cooker and blender. Dining table that seats 8 Wood fireplace with rug and Ottoman TV corner with large plasma, media player USB, DVD and disc and iPhone/iPod dock Large leather sofas and a coffee table with magazines for your enjoyment Pool table Deck and garden: Sliding doors lead to the deck that has outdoor seating cushions provided, 2 sun lounges, outdoor dining setting, gas BBQ and outdoor shower with warm water to wash the beach off while enjoying the views. A large lawned garden in front and large parking area behind, that can accommodate up to 5 cars. Access is convenient with no stairs into the house and the ability to park within 3 metres of the front door. Other options that can be arranged locally include in-house massage or a couples yoga session. FAMILY BEACH HOLIDAY Lorne-Austin is a great spot for one or two families with children to enjoy a beach break with two double rooms and 4 single beds plus additional 3 mattresses and a camp cot. There’s plenty of living space and a pool table for inter-family competitions And the kitchen is equipped to cook/BBQ at the house for everyone. OUTDOOR & NATURE ACTIVITIES Lorne is a perfect location for enjoying nature and the great outdoors...art and craft Qdos gallery, mountain biking, bushwalking, cycling, fishing, beach, exercising, golfing, photography, relaxing, shopping, sightseeing, surfing, tennis, walking, swimming, running, lazing or coffeeing. There is the lush Otways national park, waterfalls, walking trails, lookouts and of course the wonderful beach and pier. Lorne is also well known for its endurance and sporting events including the Pier to Pub Swim, Mountain to Surf Run, adventure events, challenges Anaconda being one and the Great Ocean Road marathon. There is also a golf course and bowls club. Lorne to Wye River is a popular morning cycle route with coffee at the Wye General Store being your halfway reward. And if you wish to see koalas and parakeets, Kennett River is a short drive and offers close encounters with these for you.
