Welcome to Alush

We think they are the best views in Lorne. Panoramic southern ocean coastline, the Great Ocean Road & the Otway National Park, it's pretty special.  As is the location.  Nestled into the Lornes' 'golden colder sac', the photos speak volumes.  Queens park across the road, 150m from the beach and a short stroll into town.  

The home itself is a mix of 'House in the Hamptons' and your classic weatherboard Aussie beach home.  In other words plenty of natural light, open spaces, warm contemporary furnishings and an overall fun, unpretentious feel.  Imagine taking an 80s beach home and completely refurbishing with all the latest furnishings and gadgets. Presto Alush.

Living spaces are generous and tick a whole bunch of boxes for amenity.  In particular, check out the electric modular recliner upstairs.  Super comfy The downstairs second living zone is unbelievably spacious and can serve as a fourth bedroom fold out couch, kids hideout, games room and more. Bedrooms upstairs are your stand queen bedrooms, one with en suite and the other sharing a main bathroom.  Downstairs the third bedroom is huge, and can easily accommodate a small family with double bed and bunk. 

Mature gardens surround the two story dwelling giving a sense of place and grandeur.  Whilst on a steep block, the off street parking and garage to the rear allow for level access to the home.  Other key features include wood fire, Wi-Fi,  WebberQ ducted heating.

Alush is fun, has plenty of character and maybe just a little bit fancy.  We hope to see you there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely beautiful I stayed here with my family (2 small girls) and a friends family (2 small boys) and the house was perfect in every possible way. It was easily able to comfortably accommodate 2 families with separate dedicated living zones each with own toilet and shower facilities with a large shared toilet and shower area. It has 2 huge living areas (both with a beautiful outlook), again this is perfect as there is one for adults and the other for the children. All of the rooms are very spacious and absolutely beautifully styled/presented. The attention to detail throughout the entire home was worthy of a show home. All facilities are in great working order with modern fridges, driers, washing machines etc. The indoor dining table is large enough for many more than 8 and the couch is modern and very comfortable with an open fire place and a large screen TV. The balcony is very large and easily fit our group of 8 for evening meals with a Weber Q bbq and we were greeted each morning with kangaroos grazing on the grass in the park next door. The balcony has wonderful views across the Lorne coastline and often has Kookaburras and Cockatoos sitting on the rails. There is off street parking for 2+ cars but it is on the corner block of a quiet street so plenty of room for street parking. This place is absolutely stunning and I would stay there again without another thought, super stylish, great quiet spot only minutes to Lorne main street and just feels like home the minute you walk in. Thanks for having us, I hope to see you again soon.
