Cedarwood Holiday Park have modern, self contained Cedar Cottages located in Lorne / Otway Hinterlands – only fifteen minutes from the beaches, restaurants and main street activities of Lorne.

These beautiful cottages are set in spacious and natural acreage; ideally located to give privacy and seclusion, yet offering plenty of parking spaces and sealed road access.

There is plenty to do – site seeing, bush walking, mountain bike riding, horse trail riding bring your own horse/by arrangement. Or there are the Otway food & wine trails, picking berries at local farms seasonal, visiting the Great Otway National Park, touring the Great Ocean Road or just sit back, breathe in the fresh mountain air and watch the stock graze in the adjoining paddocks.

Our Cedar Cottages offer the best of both worlds, with the bustling, enthusing, beautiful and world renowned seaside town of Lorne – only a short 15/20 minutes drive away. Or you can enjoy the solitude, peace and quiet of the stunning Otway Mountains.

Don’t forget the local wines and fresh produce are a feature of this community-aspired area.

We welcome your well behaved dog/s, at no extra charge. There is a lovely new dog yard with secure fencing so you don’t have to worry.

Our modern Cedar Cottages each sleep four people in comfort. They have two bedrooms, one with a Queen size double bed and the other with two large single beds.

All beds have duvets and/or blankets and electric blankets.

The kitchen and fittings would satisfy any chef or you are welcome to use the outside porch undercover to cook on the Weber. Eat in using the sumptuous fresh local produce and wines or dine out at one of the many first class restaurants in the area.

We are accommodation partners with Dan Hunter's gorgeous Brae Restaurant voted No. 41 best restaurant in the World. We offer a Transfer Service by arrangement to/from the Cottage.

Inside there is a flat screen TV and Blu Ray player, a comfy lounge, good magazines and a great view.

Luxury linen, towels and toiletries are supplied for your enjoyment.

Our Cedar Cottages have reverse air conditioning and a ceiling fan – for when a log fire isn’t suitable.

We are happy to supply a Port-a-cot and/or high chair pre-arrangement.

Traveling by the new Geelong Bypass and via Winchelsea, Cedarwood Holiday Park Cottages is less than two hours from central Melbourne and 45 minutes from Geelong. With a duel lane divided highway, effortlessly travel from Melbourne to Winchelsea, with no traffic lights, no cross roads and a 100kph all the way. Once at Winchelsea turn left at the Lorne/Deans Marsh exit and then pass through Deans Marsh for approximately 4.5km and look for the sign 435A Cedar Cottages.

As an alternative you can take the Great Ocean Road via Anglesea and approach the Cedarwood Holiday Park Cottages through Lorne then on the Deans Marsh Lorne Road once traveling for about 15 minutes. This route is a gorgeous drive through the Otway gums and tree ferns.

The Cedar Cottages are located 4.5km from the Deans Marsh General Store, 15/20 minutes to Birregurra Township and 15/20 minutes to Lorne.

We are centrally located to the Otway National Parks were you can find forest walks, waterfalls, hiking and trail riding tracks for the horse or bike riders. We are very near the Otway Fly, Great Ocean Road beaches for swimming, exploring, board riding or fishing. Then there are the local wineries, berry farms and many fine cafés and restaurants offering fresh local seafood and produce.

All that, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the fresh air, peace and quiet.
