The focal point on Ocean Grove's main surf beach is the Dunes Cafe & Bar located next to the Surf Life Saving Club.
The Barwon River, near the river mouth, offers safe and sheltered swimming along its sandy shoreline, while further upstream is a jetty and boat ramp.
A Maze n Games, the Adventure Park and local wineries provide a change from the beach.
The former HMAS Canberra warship was scuttled off the coast of Ocean Grove in 2009 and is now a dive and snorkelling attraction, open to dive operators and recreational divers to explore.
The Bellarine Peninsula features many fine golf courses.
