Perfect for your beach holiday. Situated 1km from the family friendly beach. The house has an open living area and 3 bedrooms, easily accommodating couples or families. A coonarra heater keeps you warm in winter, and the afternoon sea breezes keep you cool through the hot summer days. Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, DVD player, and Ipod dock. Outdoors on the decking is a BBQ for relaxing evening meals, and the courtyard is a delightful area to relax with a coffee and book.

Ocean Grove and surrounding area's has something to offer everyone. Whether you're after adventure and thrills or relaxation and a quieter pace you will find activities suit your mood.

Coastal attractions include the surf beaches that front Bass Strait and several walking tracks that offer good views along the beach. The focal point on Ocean Grove's main surf beach is the Dunes Cafe & Bar, next to the Surf Life Saving Club, which is surrounded by lawns, native gardens and bollards carved and painted into people depicting the life and times of the area.

The Barwon River, near the river mouth, offers safe and sheltered swimming along its sandy shoreline, while further upstream is a jetty and boat ramp.

Dining Experiences

The Dunes is an amazing location sitting on the dunes overlooking the main beach of Ocean Grove. There is a world class view sweeping out to sea. Look west and you gaze at the Barwon Heads bluff and around to the Great Ocean Road;

look east along the crescent of the beach to the Point Lonsdale lighthouse and beyond to Cape Schank. People surf and swim all year, and in winter the whales usually join them.

The BarkHut Restaurant is a full a la carte Restaurant offering superb native Australian cuisine. The Barkhut resembles a high country mountain hut with rusty iron roof, timber slab walls and a large cosy open fire for winter. Our outside is perfect for those summer evenings and with a playground and games room the children are kept amused also.
