Description

The Space

This stylish and unique townhouse is located overlooking King George Square on the bustling Moyne River right in the heart of historic Port Fairy. Once the town’s flour mill, the property has cleverly been converted into a complex of townhouses offering a unique, contemporary and stylish riverside escape.

The house boasts some of the highest views North and South along the river and is in walking distance to Port Fairy’s specialty shops, restaurants and swimming beaches, indoor heated pool, as well as Griffiths Island and playground on the river.

The spacious interior consists of open plan living/dining with a well appointed kitchen all on the lower level. On the next levels you will find bedrooms 2 & 3 featuring stunning exposed bluestone and brick walls and within close proximity of the main bathroom with spa bath. On the top floor is a penthouse style bedroom featuring ensuite and expansive living room with sweeping views north and south along the river.

BEDROOMS:

Penthouse style queen bedroom with ensuite, private sitting room, small dining table and stunning views North and South along the river. The couch mattresses in the penthouse living area can also be used for children’s bedding. It can fit 2 children, allowing for more sleeping options.

Second King bedroom can also be converted to twin single beds and boasts its own river views.

The third single bedroom can be converted to a double mattress on the floor or a second single mattress can be placed here as another bedding option.

LIVING AREAS:

Open plan kitchen/dining area with stunning blue stone walls and sunfilled living area with French doors opening to a private courtyard area overlooking wharf and King George Square. Perfect when the Summer markets are held on Sundays at the square.

KITCHEN:

The open plan galley kitchen is fully appointed with electric stove and oven, dishwasher and microwave.

APPLIANCES/HEATING:

Electric hot water, electric stove and electric strip heating in living and dining areas, king and penthouse bedrooms.

BATHROOMS:

Main bathroom with spa, Second bathroom - ensuite to penthouse bedroom. Fully equipped laundry with third toilet on ground floor.

GARAGE: The single garage with remote currently houses a boat, but access is still available for hanging washing and housing the rubbish bins. Carparking is readily available out the front of the townhouse and in King George Square.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire townhouse, with all amenities included.

The Neighbourhood

Port Fairy has been named the World's Most Liveable Community for very good reason. A charming historic fishing village at the end of Victoria's famed Shipwreck Coast, Port Fairy boasts beautiful beaches; riverside living; boutique and antique shopping; award-winning cafes and restaurants; historical sights; golf course; and heritage and nature walks. It is also home to the internationally recognised Port Fairy Folk Festival in March each year.

Getting Around

While our townhouse is in walking distance to most of Port Fairy's attractions, there is a bus service around Port and to and from Warrnambool 20 mins away. Information can be obtained from the visitor centre.
