Rated 5 out of 5 by from A completely unique and beautiful home I have just had the pleasure of staying at Blauvelt Park with my two teenaged children, my sister and parents. From the moment we pulled up in the driveway (which was easy to find with the very clear instructions from Ashley) we knew we were somewhere very special. The house and gardens are immaculate and beautiful. Each room had been decorated with detail and style. We loved the maps across the walls of the room leading into one of the bathrooms, the collections of candlesticks, glassware, cow models (!) and fruit paintings. Eclectic collections of objects that have been thoughtfully placed around the house that became new discoveries as the house was explored. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly require, as were the living rooms and bedrooms. As a doctor I was delighted to see one of the bathrooms had vintage anatomy diagrams on the wall and an old style sphigmomanometer and stethoscope to keep everyone's blood pressure in check! Then there was the library. It would be easy to spend an entire week in the library without getting bored. There were huge collections of books, puzzles, jigsaws such that even my teenagers did not complain about the absence of internet. They remained remarkably entertained reading books, playing board games and doing puzzles. The gardens were also fabulous and we enjoyed getting lost in the maze and returned out a number of times to explore further. We used Blauvelt Park as a base to explore the Great Ocean Road and, although it was around a 50 minute drive to the 12 Apostles, it was an easy drive and one which we made for sunrise and sunset most days during our stay without any problem. Blauvelt Park is a truely beautiful place to stay and the hosts Ashley and Chris were extremely helpful and easy to contact if needed. The only negative point from our stay is that it just wasn't long enough! I would love to return and get back into that library! I would highly recommend this Stayz property Ruth Collins *Our stay was in January 2018

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Blauvelt Park is a big, beautiful home in Terang and Ashley, our host, was delightful and easy to deal with. Each room, including the the dining room, sitting room and five bedrooms, is large and decorative and the house as a whole is like nothing I have seen before - historic but with modern conveniences and its own personality. Our group of nine only stayed the one night, but we can't wait to return to enjoy more of the house, especially the library and maze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous weekend retreat We love this house so much and how wonderfully warm welcoming and relaxing it is that we just can't stop coming back. This is our 4th stay in 15 months and each time we've stayed with different groups of friends and family but everyone falls in love with Blauvelt Park. Ashley and Chris are amazing hosts who have created this wonderful haven with a fantastic cook's kitchen and pantry, gorgeous bedrooms and living rooms with every book DVD puzzle board game magazine you could imagine. We can't recommend this wonderful home highly enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grand in every way!! Four generations of our family spent Easter at this magnificent property. Every room was beautifully decorated, exuding opulence and class. The house is big!! We all felt we had plenty of space to relax or mix with the others. The children loved the maze, tree house and just roaming the vast grounds. There is no need to leave the house if you arrive stocked with food. It was lovely retiring to the library after dinner. We all felt we had returned to an era past whilst exploring the amazing collections and books that the owners have gathered over the years. Stayed at many places over the years and I struggle to think of a place I have enjoyed more. Thank you Ashley and Chris !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our favourite place to stay This was our 3rd visit to Blauvelt Park and each time we discover new things to enjoy in this beautiful home. The kitchen is a fabulous hub for activity and is amazingly well equipped. The bedrooms are gorgeous each one with its own theme. We made a big effort to use each of the living rooms for a gathering on this occasion so had dinner in the formal dining room as well as the informal dining room and breakfasts in the kitchen, drinks in the formal living room and in the library (probably everyone's favourite room). Ashely and Chris are wonderful hosts and we can't wait to come back again.
