Located in a quiet street in central or 'old Torquay', our spacious and modest old family "beach shack" style home is ideal accommodation for one large or two families or a relaxed group of friends not wanting fancy accommodation while you explore all the beautiful surf coast has to offer. Our well loved beach house is a bit rough around the edges but perfectly functional as our home away from home. We like to offer it to share with other relaxed families and groups for those times we cannot make it to the surf.
Surfworld Museum and Iconic Australian Surfing Brands mega stores are located just around the corner-excellent place to stock up before you start your holiday. Then it's a short 15min walk to the beautiful Fishermans Beach by road or along the beautiful Deep Creek Reserve, this is the ideal base for a fantastic Surfcoast holiday.
A large yard with toys and play equipment for children will suit families perfectly. The six bedrooms and two huge living areas provide plenty of room for a relaxing holiday with extended family and friends. Kitchen comes fully equipped with cutlery, utensils and plates, microwave etc - just bring your food.

NOTE: Air-conditioning in 3x upstairs bedrooms and living areas only. No air-condiitoning in 3x downstairs bedrooms but there are fans.

DETAILED TERMS and CONDITIONS
USE OF THE PROPERTY
The Property is ideal for a relaxing getaway for a large family, multiple family or groups of friends. Families with children are welcome.
This property is not intended to be used by groups using it as a “party” venue. The Property is located in a quiet, respectable and upstanding neighbourhood and conduct must be considerate to immediate and surrounding neighbours. Breach of these conditions is grounds for terminating the rental and eviction from the Property immediately and forego any monies paid including the full bond.
The Property is for a holiday use only and shall not be used for conducting any kind of business or for any other purpose.
The Property is not to be sub-let to any other person, party or organisation whatsoever.
The Property is not to be used for any illegal activity and criminal proceedings may be taken against you, if there has been any sign of malicious damage, vandalism or theft.
The Owner is not responsible for any permits or licensing in regards to your stay.
The Property is appropriately insured for holiday rental.
The owner will have attempted to describe the property accurately, but we do not accept responsibility for any differences between the description and the actual property or if the accommodation is not what you expected. Please study the pictures and description of the property on the web site before booking. Please feel free to ask questions before you book.
PLEASE BE AWARE: If you make a booking under false pretenses you will not be allowed to reside at the property and you will forfeit all monies paid.
A one-off cleaning fee is payable for each stay and will be specified in the quote from the owner. The cleaning fee covers reasonable sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms and toilets required after normal use and reasonable tidying of living areas and bedrooms. The cleaning fee does not cover dish washing, excessive soiling, picking up rubbish or cigarette butts, cleaning up breakages or spills, wiping down walls or removal of excess rubbish.
In order to avoid extra cleaning charges, the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Please ensure all bench tops have been wiped down, dishwasher is empty and BBQ cleaned. If moving any furniture you must put it back in its place before check out. Furniture and bedding configuration must remain the same as you found it.
Charges for extra cleaning include:
Picking up cigarette butts: $50
Barbeque clean: $50
Excess rubbish removal:$50
Excessive soiling / extra cleaning charged according to extra cleaning requirements.
Please ensure that all rubbish is taken out of the property and put in the outside garbage and recycling bins. If there is any excess rubbish that cannot fit in these bins then please remove from the property and dispose at the council rubbish drop off centre at 130 Messmate Road, Torquay. If excess rubbish is left a removal fee will be charged as specified above.
Noise and music must be kept to acceptable levels at all times of the day and night. In particular outside noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm. Unreasonable noise or music that results in complaints from neighbours to the Property may result in termination of rental and loss of bond. If we are called due to disturbance we will send a security company to the property and fees will apply.
The Owner will not be held responsible for any services that may be disconnected or fail to work properly during your stay. However we will do our best to ensure these services are reconnected or fixed as soon as possible.
Guests acknowledge that use of the Property including the house, appliances, furniture, grounds, the barbecue, outdoor furniture and children's play equipment and any other equipment is at their own risk and that the guests are responsible for their own safety. The person who rents the Property is responsible for his or her guests actions or negligence. The Owner shall not be liable for the consequences of actions related to the use of the Property.
GUEST'S PROPERTY AND BELONGINGS
The Owner will take no responsibility for the property and belongings of guests. If we are notified that articles are left behind we will make reasonable efforts to return them, postage cost paid by the guest. The Owner will take no responsibility for returning items left behind by guests.
