This home has beautiful views across Lake Victoria. The verandah is elevated, and at the back of the house, providing privacy for the holidaymaker family. There is access through the back of the garden providing direct access to the lake beach. The verandah area has a garden setting, stereo speakers, chiminea and a hooded gas BBQ. The three bedroom, two bathroom home has been set up specifically to cater for the holidaymaker family. Number 5 sleeps a maximum of 8 people. There are three bedrooms, the master bedroom has a full ensuite and Queen sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and the children's bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, sleeping four people. All you are required to supply is your own sheets, pillowcases, doona covers, beach and personal towels. Doonas and pillows are provided (We supply two queen sized doonas and four single doonas). There is also a washing machine and clothes line. PLEASE NOTE - This home accommodates a maximum of eight people.
The home is centrally located, very close to the lake beach (Which you get a 180 degree view of from the back verandah) and within easy walking distance of the Loch Sport Hotel, Pizza shop, Supermarket & Bottle Shop and Bakery. There is also an RSL, Bowls club, General Store, Take Away Food Shop, Boat club, Boat Marina, Tennis Courts, Golf Course and Mini Golf. The serene Ninety Mile beach is a short (Five minute) drive from Number 5. The house has a double carport, which can accommodate a boat if necessary. The home has two showers, but no bathtub. Water supply is tank water. Loch Sport generally has slightly cooler temperatures than Melbourne during the Summer months, and slightly warmer during the winter. The home has an air conditioner, a Masport brand wood fire (With an electric fan) and a supply of firewood. The open plan Lounge/dining/ kitchen has been recently renovated. So too has the bathroom and ensuite. The home is a smoke free zone, with digital TV and a stereo which can read from a USB stick. The property is strictly a pet free zone.
A friendly Kookaburra and several parrots regularly visit for a snack from the feeding bowls that are attached to the back verandah posts. There is also a chiminea (And firewood supply)on the verandah for those chilly evenings. There are no fences on this property, and it is a pet free zone. The rear of the house is elevated by approximately 4 metres, and has wire rope and glass panel hand rails, however, this may not be suitable for families with children who like to 'climb'. There is a minimum of two nights stay, with the exception of long weekends, which is a three night stay minimum. Easter and Melbourne cup weekend (November) is a four night minimum stay. From 23rd December to 30th January all stays are for a minimum of seven days. Check-in and check-out times can be flexible depending on other bookings. Bond is required. This property is also available for rental on a permanent basis. For weekly rentals from 23rd. December until 31st.January holiday period are $1,400 per week, and for the rest of the year it is a standard rate of $900 per week.
