This mudbrick cottage is on a double block within walking distance to the bush, beach, town and golf course. It is fully self-contained and there is room for 4 to sleep in the loft access via a ladder with one queen-sized bed and 2 singles. Downstairs there is a double sofa bed. Guests must bring their own linen, bath towels and mat and tea towels. There is a slow combustion stove for cool winter evenings and the mudbrick keeps the cottage cool in summer. No pets, please.
Mallacoota is a delightful town surrounded by National Park. There are two large lakes, numerous walking trails and an 18 hole golf course, on to which we back. In addition, we are within easy walking distance to the beach 400metres and only about 500 metres to the boat ramp. You can also walk to town through the bush in about 15 minutes. There is access to park a boat at the rear of the block on the firebreak. There is an Arts Festival held every Easter. For that quiet getaway, this area is hard to beat.
