The Slipmasters Cottage is part of Metung History. it was relocated to its present site in the 1980's when its original site in Bulls Shipyard was sold to developers for holiday units.
This stylish, lovely home is furnished with family antiques and some modern furniture.The whole house has been redecorated and modernised with the bathroom and laundry being completely renovated in October 2017. It has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious furnished front & rears decks, perfect for your alfresco breakfast, or an afternoon sundowner or BBQ.
Whilst there is only one full bathroom a second toilet is located in the laundry. There is ample accommodation for a single family and parking for two vehicles.
It is a slow fifteen minute walk to the village via the yacht club and boardwalk and is only a short drive to the lovely Kings Cove Golf Course.
Metung is only 20 minutes from Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance and has a small supermarket/fishing/hardware shop in addition there are several first class eating venues.
The main activities are boating and fishing, nature and scenic walks. There are art galleries, food trails, wineries and a safe swimming beach for adults and children. The Village Green is the venue for the famous Metung Farmers Market held on the second Saturday of each month where local in-season produce is showcased for all to purchase.
Sleeping arrangements include:

Strictly 5 night minimum stay. We provide a 10 discount for a 7 night stay to compensate for the cost of the linen which we used to provide free of charge for 7 day stays.
The Slipmasters Cottage is strictly non smoking and we do not allow camping in the back yard for extra guests. A small dog may be accommodated on request and you will be required to pickup after your pet. Pets are strictly not allowed on furniture or bedding due to potential allergies of other guests.
We do not take bookings for multiple families due to the size of the indoor living areas
Doonas, blankets and pillows are provided. Linen and Bath Towels are provided at a small charge, but beach towels and waterproof mattress protectors must be brought if any guest is not night dry. If contaminated or stained an additional laundry charge may apply
Wheelchair access is available via the rear of the house.
