Beautiful and spacious newly renovated 2 bedroom & 1 bathroom separate toilet holiday unit located in the gorgeous Lakes Distract township of Paynesville. The unit has direct access to a canal and has it's own private jetty for you to use.

The name Peg’s Paradise is inspired by my great Aunt Peg, an artist who over her life gathered inspiration from the natural beauty, space and solitude of Gippsland’s beaches, Lakes and mountains to create original paintings, sculptures and music.

From your very first visit to Paynesville and the Gippsland area you will understand why she spent her life in this beautiful part of the world and dedicated it to capturing the magic in her artwork.

With love we have transformed great Aunt Peg’s home into a holiday destination where others can now come to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the area.

Peg’s Paradise is only a 20min walk or 5 min drive from the centre of Paynesville village's shops, supermarkets, chemist, cafes, restaurants and pub.

By making Peg’s Paradise your temporary home you can relax and explore the region by land or boat. With access to your own private jetty you can moor your own boat or a hire boat to use during your stay. The nearest boat ramp is only 650m away – King Street Boat Ramp.

For transparency the unit itself does not have water facing views, but a short stroll through the common garden leads you to the canal and private jetty. You are also free to use the common garden area for a picnic with canal views if it takes your fancy.

Peg's Paradise includes everything you need to have a luxurious relaxing stay. Below details everything that will be available to you in the unit, room by room. As you will see everything has been thought of to ensure you have the perfect stay.

Peg’s Paradise is located in the township of Paynesville a 3.5 hour drive East of Melbourne.

Paynesville is a very special place on the Gippsland Lakes and is known as the ‘boating capital’ of Victoria with its magnificent location surrounded on three sides by lakes; over 350 square kilometers fed by four major rivers. This area encompasses Paynesville and it’s neighbours - Raymond Island, Eagle Point and Newlands Arm.

Whether you are a family, a couple or a wanderer there is so much to see.

In Paynesville you’ll find a multitude of cafes and restaurants, a wide variety of retail outlets, safe swimming areas and playgrounds plus many walking trails to keep wanderers happy. The lakes are perfect for motor cruisers, yachts, power boats, jet skis and kayaks.

Eagle Point

Only 5 kilometres from Paynesville, this peaceful lake edge area gives access to rivers, lakes and secluded waterways.

Eagle Point is a place where you can truly relax. The sheltered waterways are perfect for boating, kayaking and fishing. Stroll around the nature reserve or along the foreshore and see echidnas, kangaroos and so much birdlife. Perfect jetties for the avid fishermen abound.

The unique Silt Jetties are a must see by bicycle or car.

Newlands Arm

If you are keen to explore further, drive to Dawson’s Cove at Newlands Arm where the boardwalks and cycle tracks take you along the reedy banks to find ducks, swans and peaceful places to relax. Take a boat out along the calm waterways for some excellent fishing. This area is well utilised by the many water skiers who come during the summer months.

Raymond Island

Raymond Island is accessed by a car ferry that departs regularly. Only a two minute trip, take your car over and experience this island community. Drive down roads lined with eucalypts or banksias and wander the bush tracks to find koalas in their natural habitat. Even better, if you walk or cycle the ferry is free of charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent property The holiday home was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Home away from home. So much thought from the owners had gone into making our stay very comfortable. A very clean quality accommodation & the owners absolutely lovely. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A home away from home From the moment we walked into this property we felt right at home. Very clean throughout and newly renovated, with a terrific new kitchen and lovely big lounge suit to relax for the whole family. We loved the fact that our boat was moored at our own private Jetty and there was enough room to park the trailer as well. In the evening we enjoyed the big TV- screen with Netflix provided and the lovely board games giving us hours of fun. Also, excellent quality shower and pampering products were provided. My favourite!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impeccably presented We stayed for three nights. Incredibly impressed with the attention to detail and standard of inclusions inside the property. Communication with owner timely and accommodating. For families with young kids: it's important to know the garden is shared with three other residents and has direct access to the water via the jetty. Small children can't play unsupervised in the yard.
