Appassionata is a delightful mud-brick studio apartment nestled halfway between Daylesford and Hepburn Springs, sitting on 8 acres of bush and attached to the back of the main house although completely separate.
Ideal for one or two guests, the studio is well appointed and immaculately presented inside with all you need for a holiday stay. The queen bed has pretty country style linen and you can enjoy the central potbelly stove whether you are lying in bed, watching TV on the couch or cooking in the kitchen. Wood and kindling are provided plus there is a split system that will keep you toasty in winter and cool in summer. The mud brick construction has great insulation from heat and cool.
Appassionata has a well-stocked kitchenette – you can definitely cook a meal. The bathroom is fabulously large and very roomy with claw-foot bath and separate shower. Entertainment comprises flat screen TV, DVD player and plenty of books. Or you can enjoy the peaceful, tranquil setting and unwind in front of the large picture windows or out on the private courtyard. With an abundance of wildlife and pretty cottage garden right outside your door, you can’t help but relax. Your well-behaved small pet is welcome, just be aware the property is not fully fenced.
DCD provides complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar and when you stay 2 nights or more, a breakfast starter. Also provided are wood and kindling for the fire and linen for bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. All you need to bring are your personal belongings, food and beverages.
