Welcome to our home in lovely Daylesford
The three bedroom home is quiet and cozy, perfect for couples, families, and friends to spend a relaxing weekend away from city. There is also a self-contained bungalow for additional guests.
I am originally from Denmark. I fell in love with this gorgeous little town the very first time we visited here and since then we simply couldn't resist returning here whenever we can.
I hope you will enjoy your stay in Daylesford as much as we do :
You will feel right at home the minute you step inside the comfortable home.
Inside the lounge is a lovely wood heater making winter nights warm and cozy. There is also a gas heater in the dinning.
Feel like cooking rather than dining out? The kitechen is fully equipped with a new cooktop oven, and cooking utensils.
Why not sit outside on the verandah, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning? If you are lucky you may see visiting kangaroos.
All three bedrooms have a queen bed with comfy mattresses. The base price is for four people for use of the main house. Additional guests will incur a charge.
There is also a fully self-contained bungalow with one bedroom sleep two people, lounge with kitchenette and bathroom with shower and toilet. This is not included in the qouted price but may be available upon request at additional charges $100/night. Just let me know if you need it.
We provide linen, doonas, towels, shampoos and bath gels, hair dryer, coffee, tea and milk for guests convenience.
The kitchen is equipped with cooktop oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettel, toaster.
TV and DVD player are available in the lounge. We also provide firewood/kindeling for the wood heater during May to September.
A washing machine is available in the laundry.
Please do not bring your own bbq to avoid fire hazard.
The original owner planted grape vines and plum trees for making wines and grappa. The fruit ripens in late Summer/Autumn ready to be picked.
Daylesford is such a beautiful place and can be quite hilly in some places. There is a short walk uphill to the house from the Hospital Street and the car port is at the bottom of the driveway.
The house is on a short street without through traffic. The location is peaceful and quite, but yet close to everything. There are however heaps of bird life nearby. And if you are lucky, you may be able to say hello to visiting kangaroos
We are within 10 minutes walk from the main street in Daylesford, Coles supermarket, Convent Cafe & Gallery, and Wombat Hill Botanical Garden.
The beautiful Daylesford Lake is a 20 minutes walk away.
