Ceremonies

Many past guests have chosen to utilise  the Gardens for their Wedding Ceremony. The Wisteria Arbour acts as an informal "aisle" with plenty of shade trees, and garden "rooms" and vista's providing for great photographic opportunities.

Ceremonies involving acoustic musicians are permitted during daylight hours.

Ceremonies involving up to 30 offsite visitors [50 including those guests staying on the property] cost an extra $300. Higher guest numbers are by  by further negotiation.

Functions and receptions

Tasma House is in a residential area, with all the comforts of a big rambling country house. As a mark of respect to our friends and neighbours who live in the area, functions and receptions are not encouraged.

There are a number of great country halls in the region, with local bus and taxi services to assist in getting people safely to and from these venues.

A catering service to provide canapes and drinks after the ceremony would be allowable under the  ceremony tarrif

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rustic charm and big enough for the whole crew My friends and I had a great time at Tasma House. We used all the rooms and bungelos as there was a total of 16 of us. The house has two living areas with the kitchen/ back room being bif enough to entertain and fit all of us. We spent almost all our meals at the house and the only thing we missed were a whisk and a potato masher! The kitchen has plenty of serving dishes for big groups and enough mugs and plates! (BYO wine glasses). There is also two kitchens with two full size fridges. The gardens are amazing and we all thought it was a very tranquil and secluded feeling setting. The hosts were also very good, we had an issue with the hot water system and it was replaced on a friday night (I was very impresses with this because none of us thought that would happen). They were really helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The house is very interesting to explore and we were all surprised by how warm the house was. We aren't from this part of Australia and all thought we would be very cold but inside the house for the age of the hosue it was very very warm. The smaller bungalos are the coldest bedrooms as there is a bit of a draft out there. I would recommened this house for family or friends who are wishing to gather and enjoy each others company and enjoy the local produce in the big kitchen!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A wonderful winter Break We had a wonderful winter long weekend at Tasma House The house is quirky but there was plenty of room for our noisy extended family. It was warm, cosy and very clean. We loved the back kitchen family room and it was a perfect place for family time.... got the kids away from the ipads and into playing silly games, having a talent show (the sliding doors to the music room made for a perfect stage!) and a round of Monopoly. Our plans for a dinner out in town were shelved as it was very busy, and, with such a well appointed kitchen we stocked up on beautiful fresh vege's from the Railway Market and stayed home for roast lamb. It is often hard to find a place to accomodate a large family but Tasma house ticked all our boxes for a family weekend. The trampoline and duck ponds were an added bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very cosy My large family of 14 plus 3 babies recently stayed for a weekend at Tasma House, Daylesford. We had a wonderful time there. The huge rustic living room/ kitchen is great for a big group. The property is cosy, comfy and authentic. The bed linen is crisp and white. The children thoroughly enjoyed the garden and the in ground trampoline. Adrian, our host was delightful. We look forward to returning in the future.” Sally Browne

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ripped off. Dirty. Tasma House Daylesford. Dirty. Caretaker onsite, not advised. Not as advertised. Mould on shower curtains. Cockroaches in kitchen. Chipped glasses and crockery. Poor lighting. Lots of Trip hazards. No rails. Plenty of other properties in Daylesford to pick from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fairytale location!! I have booked the Tasma house for our wedding in January and it was just perfect! The gardens surrounding the main house and the little cottages are absoluetly stunning, perfect to take amazing pictures. The size of the main house is perfect for a small group and very functional when it comes to preparing meals. Its a very comfortable space and each of our guests enjoyed the comfort of their room/cottages. The trampoline was a big favourite for the kids. We had a fantastic time at Tasma House and I strongly recommend this venue for your next familly holliday.
