Daly Views is an historic, cosy home with some of the best views in town. The home is perfectly located on Wombat Hill, next to the famous Convent Gallery, and a path besides the home leads straight to the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens. The main street of Daylesford, with its many gourmet restaurants, wine bars, day spas, interesting shops and galleries, is only a short walk away. Other locations such as the Sunday Markets, the Farmers Arms Hotel and Lake Daylesford are all within walking distance as well. The home is perfect for couples or small groups.
As you can see from the photos, the home has a beautiful verandah and deck, which is a perfect spot to sit and just enjoy the views, or relax under the wisteria on a warm day with a glass of wine. The verandah has an outdoor dining table and chairs, as well as a BBQ and sun lounges.
The home was built c1860 and retains many of its original features. There are three bedrooms QS x 2 and Double x1 all with new beds and quality linen. There is one lounge area, one bathroom separate toilet, a small but character filled country kitchen, and an adjoining small dining area.
There is a beautiful roaming tiered garden with lots of edible goodies if the season is right.
There is plenty of heating in winter with a gas heater and a couple of electric wall heaters, an open fire no firewood provided over Summer months, and enough wood provided in winter for ambient fires. In summer, there is air-conditioning and a fan.
There is free Wi-Fi.
The whole property is for your private use and enjoyment. A code will be provided to a key storage box so you can check-in at your convenience.
