Hepburn's hidden gem. Thank you, thank you thank you is the most common entry in our guest book. As you turn in the front gate, you'll feel as though you've entered a secret world. Set within established gardens only a stone's throw from both Hepburn & Daylesford, Kookaburra Ridge is a place you won't want to leave. With a fusion of 19th century French and Australian antiques, and an assortment of vintage objects and original French oil paintings, adds to its uniqueness and charm.
Meander through the one and half acres of established gardens filled with grape vines, fruit orchard and your own private olive grove you quickly understand why it's a hidden gem. In summertime sit on the spacious deck and enjoy a cold drink as the sun goes down, or in winter cosy up by the fire with chocolates and coffee. Pack your bags and make the trip to your home away from home as so many others have done before you.

Guests staying in 2016: It's amazing We love it. Our fourth stay at Kookaburra Ridge
Guests staying in 2015: Property has a lovely view and was quite similar to our cottage back home. We have the same floorboards, a veranda with a view ,an orchard, lots of birds ,a bath with a view etc. so we felt right at home. The property was larger then what I expected I hadn't realised that it was three bedrooms. My wife was recovering from an operation and the space was much appreciated. It was good being able to spread out and not be cramped. A very relaxing place, it is beautifully furnished, enjoyed the lovely comfortable bedding. We cooked in a fair bit and the kitchen makes this very easy to do. The location is very quiet with respect to traffic and neighbours. We would stay here again definitely.
Guests staying in 2015: As a family we had such a lovely and lively holiday. 'Kookaburra Ridge' allowed us to be inspired and be ourselves. To enjoy the gardens and the clean bedrooms to sleep in. Beautiful views out of every window, deck we could sit out on and totally relax. It was as though we had all been to Nth Italy / France or England for the weekend and saved money on all the flights. A special Thank you to the lovely family who own this beautiful house for allowing us to share their hard work especially in the outstanding garden and family home. We believe we have found a gem and we are all the better for our stay there.
Guests staying in 2015: Loved the estate, it was stunning and all amenities were brilliant. Very clean and relaxing. I will be returning soon.
Guests staying in January 2015: Kookaburra ridge was the most amazing house and garden to stay in. We are absolutely going to return. Please thank the owners for being so generous in sharing such a beautiful home. No complaints - just wonderful This is our 8th stay using Dayget in Daylesford. We love it.
Guests staying in December 2014: Kookaburra Ridge was a spotlessly presented property that exceeded our expectations, it was beautifully furnished, with crisp white sheets and lovely big fluffy towels, we loved the soaps. We cancelled a restaurant booking choosing instead to stay in and have a BBQ on the gorgeous veranda and enjoy the beautiful surrounds, the gardens were beautifully kept. And on our last morning we woke to 2 kangaroos grazing by our back steps. We loved everything about this property.
Guests staying in January 2014: We absolutely loved Kookaburra Ridge and will look to stay here again if it's available. The home was so comfortable and beautiful. We felt immediately "at home" and loved every moment there. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and we enjoyed the choice of being able to cook nicely for ourselves or grab take away and enjoy it at the lovely dining table.
Guests staying in October 2013: Lovely property with beautiful surroundings. Ideal for relaxing time, away from the busy life.
Guests staying in August 2013: Amazing place to relax and unwind. Only wish we could have stayed there longer
