Hepburn cottage is a stylishly fitted out miners cottage nestled into over an acre of quiet bushland. Only a short 400mtr walk from the Hepburn Spa complex and the shops, cafes and restaurants of Hepburn springs, while only 3 Klm's from Daylesford township.
With a large open fireplace , contemporary art and photography, a collection of books and a mixture of comfortable modern and industrial furnishings.
This intimate, tasteful miners cottage in an excellent place to retreat from the city, wind down and enjoy the sounds of the bush in a practical and welcoming space. Set on over an acre of bushland with access to bush tracks for both walking and biking.
The surrounds are great for families and pets with lots of nooks and crannies to explore.
The kitchen is simple yet functional - plenty of room to cook for the family or friends or simply prepare a morning coffee on the stove top prior to walking to the Blue Bean cafe for breakfast, or have a BBQ and on the deck and enjoy the potbelly stove.
The house has a spa bath , great natural light , is private and secluded yet walking distance to both the spa house and cafes.
No wifi is available but 3G and 4G are accessible. TV reception is a bit scratchy however there is a DVD player and stereo with a phone dock available. The Cottage offers a quiet place to relax, listen to the open fire and step away from the city for a while.
The road up to the Cottage is dirt and the turn off to the drive way is well marked. Our big old 2 wheel drive has no problem negotiating it all year round. The Cottage does have steps up and down to the front door with a hand rail.
The new Stayz/Homeaway website doesn't allow us to advertise this, but the Rental cap for up to 7 nights is $750 with $105 added per night after that. I can sort that through an enquiry.
The Cottage has recently been purchased by a family who has rented the property for family weekends over the last 15 years and , while continuing to enjoy and refurbish the cottage , are keen for others to come and enjoy the cottage and the Hepburn Springs surrounds.
