The cottages at Gisborne Peak Winery are a revolutionary development utilizing environmentally sustainable modular buildings. To complement the building design, the cottages use renewable energy resources as their main power supply. A creative system of solar panels, a small wind turbine and a back-up diesel generator complete the trio of innovative, sustainable energy.
Combine these with the time honoured art of grape growing, producing quality grapes to make excellent wine and the result is a synergy of the sun, the earth, the rain and the wind to make a most pure, one-with-nature experience.
