The house features a state of the art kitchen with AEG oven, Mile induction cooktop plus full size fridge and freezer and dishwasher and microwave.
The open plan kitchen/dining area leads to the lounge area which includes Foxtel, lots of books and magazines, a wood fire, split system and wall heaters. This room opens to a covered patio and vegetable garden. The main bedroom which over looks the garden has a queen size bed with luxurious 1000 thread count cotton sheets, doona and side tables with lamps. The second bedroom comprises a queen size bed which is easily divided into two single beds if so required. One of the three couches in the lounge room quickly converts into a double bed. Each bedroom has a built in wall of wardrobes.
The luxurious bathroom includes double hand basins on a long bench top in front of a wall of mirrors. This bathroom includes a Maytag clothes washing machine and dryer.
Every glass door and window in Secondo is double glazed affording maximum retention of the house temperature and sound proofing.
Guests are encouraged to walk around the gardens and sit out or have drinks/meals in the grounds. Catering arrangements at Secondo are you provide your own meals, utilising the kitchen cutlery and crockery etc or visit one of the coffee shops, hotels, restaurants, IGA supermarket or explore the surrounding hot spot locations of Daylesfords, Kyneton or Woodend. Secondo is a three minute walk to the High Street of Trentham with all of its attractions.
Trentham is a very special township at the very top of the Great Dividing Range midway between Woodend and Daylesford, approx. 1 hour from Melbourne, the town's location in-between the Macedon Ranges and the Spa Country at the edge of the Wombat State Forest makes it the perfect base to explore the many attractions of these areas.
Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend in the country, indulging in the many gourmet delights and wines offered by the region or more active outdoor pursuits like riding or bush walking in the Wombat State Forest, Trentham has it all.
In winter its often dusted by snow, while in summer it stays lush and green long after neighbouring regions dry out. Tiny trentham punches well above its weight in the high quality eating and drinking stakes even in such a gourmet obsessed region, book into Annie Smither's 'Du Fermier' restaurant or dine at Coliban Food Store or the Plough or the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Pack a picnic lunch and walk to the Quarry Street Reserve and lake in the centre of town. Call in at Redbird bakery or Chaplins or the Collective for breaky. If you feel energetic, Trentham Golf Club welcomes visitors or do the Domino Trail walk.
