This is a luxury 2 bed (two queen beds) and two bathroom unit. One bedroom has a separate bathroom and the other one has an ensuite.
As the unit is tucked in behind Unit 1 it is nice and quiet and the back yard is a peaceful haven with timber decking gardens and privacy.
As you will see from the photos this property is not just one or two streets away from the beach its practically on the beach (in fact when the wind blows hard we get sand in the front yard!) Popular beach with kite surfers and swimmers alike and like most beaches has different characteristics at low and high tide, sunny or wet.
Access to the centre of Altona (Pier St) with its modern eateries/cafes/supermarket/specially shops and Tuesday Market is easy via car or a short walk of 10 minutes, there is a zone 1 train station a further 2 minute walk up Pier St for easy access into the city or other areas such as Werribee/Geelong.
You have access to a fabulous kitchen with usual facilities including Nespresso coffee maker, lounge, outdoor living area, off street car parking for one car, WIFI internet access
This is a standalone rental (self catering although weekly cleans can be arranged for an extra fee) so you wont have us looking over your shoulder although we will be available by phone or email if you have any queries or problems.

Every day you get to experience the beach and its changing moods, from glorious sunny days to watching the occasional rain squall move across the bay. The local council regularly groom the beach and this part is quieter than the area closer to Pier St.
The pace in Altona is relaxed as it is a destination suburb without major through roads to other places.
If you are into Kite-boarding then you will love Altona beach as it is well situated to catch the evening southerly winds and at times there can be 20 or more enthusiasts on the water with their brightly coloured sails catching the wind.

Getting to/from the Tullamarine airport can be done via taxi or by using the shuttle bus from the airport to Southern Cross station and then taking a local train service to Altona Station and either a taxi or 10 minute walk to this property.
