It is located close to the hustle and bustle of North Caulfield’s Orrong Rd shopping strip.

The suburb of Caulfield is best known as the place where the Caulfield Cup horse race is run and is located just 12 kilometres South East of Melbourne’s bustling heart.

There are many things to see and do while in Caulfield including the famous Caulfield Park and Racecourse. There are 20 race days each racing season and some of Australia’s most famous and historic races are conducted on those days. The Caulfield train station is less than a hundred metres from the racecourse.

Tavlin Restaurant on Glenhuntly Road, a popular middle eastern restaurant and Siam Thai Restaurant get consistently good reviews. These are but two of Caulfield’s many well known and well located restaurants. The Lambassa, a French Renaissance mansion with luxuriant and expertly made interior, is well worth a visit while staying with us in Caulfield. Also available is a guided tour of the amazing wine making facilities of the Yarra Valley. Experience the rich history and knowledge from a life time of wine culture from the surrounding areas. There is a “what’s on” program at the art complex on Hawthorn Rd and many interesting exhibitions.

Getting around

Caulfield is well serviced by public transport into the city. Caulfield railway station is located on the Pakenham, Cranbourne and Frankston lines. Trams also connect Caulfield extensively via routes 64 & 67.
