FRONT HOUSE

4 large double bedrooms 3 with queen beds and 1 with a double and single bed.

2 x ensuites and 1 main bathroom.

An extra bedroom accessed off deck fits single bed only equipped with an ensuite on request is available. Please enquire.

BEDROOMS

The main bedroom has a large, luxury ensuite/wet room, bedroom 3 has a small ensuite, and bedrooms 1 + 2 share a bathroom with shower, basin and WC.

All beds are made up with beautiful high quality white cotton sheets/bedding and come with soft fluffy white towels and washers.

Children are welcome. A wooden cot will be made up on request. High-chair, change-table and toys are supplied also.

THE KITCHEN

Wonderful open-plan kitchen to cook in and stocked with all the kitchen essentials.

SMEG 900mm wide oven/gas stove top, fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine + pods, Bosch dishwasher, clever fold-out pantry, rice cooker, utensils, saucepans, fry pans etc.

LOUNGE AREA

Living space with lots of wooden sash windows and double French doors which open out onto a side garden and lovely rear deck. 2 x leather lounges which seats 5, and 2 x arm chairs. Large 40" Full HDTV with FOXTEL Platinum package, WIFI/Cable Internet.

OUTDOOR AREA

French doors in living area open up onto a deck, which has a Ziegler and Brown BBQ, and gorgeous leafy garden landscaped with established natives and fruit trees olives, apple etc and grassed areas – your own little oasis complete with a hammock and an outdoor dining table with benches and outdoor chairs to relax on. Please note, that the rear property behind this listing is closed off from the garden with a fence, ensuring your privacy. If renting the entire property, we will leave the gate open so both areas can be accessed...

HEATING + COOLING

Hydronic heating in the bedrooms and living area makes the house lovely and toasty in winter. Air conditioner in main living area and fans in all rooms.

LAUNDRY

Located at rear of front house for both houses. Access to a large commercial washing machine, portable clothes line with pegs and gas dryer.

NEARBY FOOD, CAFES AND PUBS

The house is situated a 1-2 minute walk to the iconic Sydney Rd. This street leads directly into the city and is basically one shop after another with Brunswick and Carlton on the way. The Post Office Hotel is a 1-2 minute walk away from the house and has a beautiful dining hall refer to photos, a beer garden, bottle shop, live music and does an awesome take-away pizza. The Woodlands Hotel is a few metres further down Sydney Rd – also great. Coburg is renown for it's amazing and cheap Middle-Eastern food. Try the best Falafel in Melbourne at The Half Moon Cafe, or a pizza/pie from Zaatar or Alemeny for as little as $3 George Columbaris' Hellenic Republic is also over on this side of town and well worth booking in advance for the most amazing Greek Food

JUST A FEW OF OUR MANY REVIEWS

We could have asked for nothing more The house was a true home, perfectly set out for a stay by 4 generations of our family from Brisbane and New Zealand. Jayne was so friendly and went beyond the usual role of a host to make sure that we had everything that we needed and had settled in. We had contact details but did not need to contact her for anything. There were vases of fresh flowers placed around the house - a lovely touch

Everything we needed and more was supplied. We were free to use the contents of the pantry and on looking in the freezer found a family-sized freshly baked apple pie The kitchen was well set out, with an amazing fridge/freezer and large oven although we didn't need to prepare many of our meals - the eateries close-by are well worth visiting The living area was very comfortable with ample seating and received good light. It had doors opening onto an outside decked area, where there were tables and bench seats - perfect for outdoor eating and relaxing. Our granddaughter enjoyed watching and feeding the goldfish and seeing the bugs and bees fly down to get a drink.

The beds were super-comfortable with good quality linen, lovely soft towels were supplied. As we had a toddler with us, we appreciated the use of the cot and high chair. And there was an assortment of children's books in the cupboard, along with a large box of toys. All of this was no hassle for the owner to supply. It was a very child-friendly environment.

The rooms were all of a very generous size. We were able to give my elderly father his own room with adjoining ensuite. Another room even had an awesome bath. The two rooms without ensuites had the use of a more than ample separate bathroom, with shower and toilet. The location was perfect. There was no issue in getting supplies as the supermarket was only a few minutes away. The local shops were great to look through, such variety. Although we had rental cars, we made use of both the train and tram to get into the city, getting our Myki cards from the chemist just around the corner in Sydney Road. We were able to relax and really enjoy our stay in Melbourne. The house was even better than what we had imagined. Everything in the photographs was accurate, the place was clean and just catered for our needs perfectly. I would definitely recommend 46 Loch Street to anyone needing a comfortable place to stay, close to all amenities and very convenient to get transport into town. I cannot commend Jayne enough for her warm welcome and hospitality. It meant that we will always have such special memories from both a wonderful Melbourne wedding and of our time seeing the city. To say Thankyou hardly seems enough - but "Thankyou" from all of us. Merry Christmas and we wish you a wonderful 2015.

This is a gorgeous modern house amazingly decorated with everything we needed and more. We all loved staying here, it was so close to public transport and shops, and there were great coffee shops and restaurants which Jayne recommended that we really enjoyed. It was lovely to have a stocked pantry & toiletry supply and great coffee machine Jayne was a wonderful host, and nothing was too much trouble for her. It was a great place to chill out and relax, and so close to the city only 20 mins by tram so we had the best of everything. Thanks Jayne, I'm sure we'll be back

When we first stepped into her house, the house was really beautiful. It was like an art gallery or like a display house. The interior design was modern. We felt like at home and really comfortable. The house was super clean. Since we were muslim, finding halal food nearby was easy because there are a lot of halal restaurants and shops. Only took 2-3 minutes by car. Supermarket such as Cole is also very near around 10 minutes walk. Distance from her house to centre Melbourne is just 20 minutes by car. If using public transport, there is tram near her house. Only 5-10 minutes walk. The tram will go directly to the centre near Victoria Market. We have great time in Melbourne and Jayne's house. Will definitely stay there if we visit Melbourne again.

"We had the most lovely 6 night stay in this spacious home. So family friendly with all you need for children but with luxurious resort style touches such as the glamorous main bathroom. The hosts were so generous, for example leaving the house stocked with pantry basics, ample coffee pods and supersize good quality bath products. Great location in hip "coolburg" which is barely gentrified and has so much authentic character, yummy food and the best ugg boot shop anywhere Convenient to train and tram to Brunswick, the city centre, and the zoo, if you can bear to leave the cosy confines. We were able to have family visit, hang out and cook a roast dinner - much nicer than a hotel. Thanks jayne we hope to be back before too long."

"BOOK THIS HOUSE

For an extended family gathering we booked Jayne's house in Coburg Melbourne. The minute we walked in we were 'wowed'. Jayne should be a stylist that is for sure. The house is like a spread in a fashionable magazine, at the same time as being ever so homely. It was super clean and everything for our stay was thought of, including children's toys, kitchen essentials and toiletries. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. Coburg itself is an 'up and coming' area that has kept its multicultural vibrancy. Cool cafes and bars are a stones through away, as is the train station. All of our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jayne's house and we would highly recommend it to any of our friends. In addition, we would book it again ourselves in a heartbeat. Thanks Jayne"
